The room door touch interface was confusing and ‘technically not very responsive to touch’ and thus confusing … I managed to figure it out - but shortly after checking I was on my way out - needed some information from the lobby - when an elderly Asian couple had arrived back down to the V lobby because they could not figure this out. Other arrivals made things difficult for the sole receptionist [young woman by the way, who was doing a great job in general]. Realising the Asian couple was having the same problem I had after checking in couple of hours earlier, I simply took them upstairs [my own floor] and helped them access their room. Look: Simply preparing a graphical illustration - possibly with simple multilingual instructions - may help a lot ;-!

considered room equipment, location and services, it was expensive (perhaps, I booked the room while the city have some events? it was hard to find the place to stay).

It is okay for business trip. it wasn't spacious room but it equips basic items! also I needed to check out in early morning (around 6am) where receptionist wasn't there... but got supported by email though app.

I booked a room with a bath, but then I got another one with only a shower. When I told the guy at the reception, he said I had to specify in ‘personal requests’, and that pictures not always show what you get. There was no option to get one since all the rooms with bath were fully booked. That was kind of disappointing. There was a fridge in the room but the door didn’t close good, so water was coming out of it. The bathroom didn’t have a ventilation system so it stayed fogged and humid for long time after showering.

The location was very centrical, close to the train station. Located on a side street, quiet and short distance from the main commercial area with stores and restaurants. The room was nice and comfortable. The bathroom was modern and big. Breakfast was quite good, served at the building in front of where we were staying. Many options of food, also fruit, muesli, yoghurt. The service staff was helpful.

Insufficient soundproofing of the walls, one can easily hear voices from the adjacent rooms and the corridor. Safe is old-fashioned, and there is no key to it provided, so we could not use it. There is no kettle in the room, and we had to bring one with us.

The top location in the walking distance from the main attractions, shops and restaurants. All you need is within 5-20 minutes walking. The personnel is very friendly. The room cleaning quality is good. Very quiet, no street noise reaches the room.

Walls are thin so expect noise. I can hear other people talking in their rooms beside mine. Bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. There was no heat at all in my room so it was so cold while it was 5-8c outside!

The staff was not friendly at all. Absolutely dismissive. The completely ignore my request to be notified when a room would have been available for check in. The hotel has no facilities, no hall, no common areas. It looks more like an old hostel. There are some vending machines and chairs (quite old and dirty).

There was a faint smell in the Corridor, my room had no view. overall a bit plain. They could have done with a bit more accessories, since I travel from India, we are used to lot more amenties

Location was central to Cologne, everything important can be told as walkable from here. Since its in the old city, the lanes are narrow, however taxi was able to reach the location

All staffs are friendly and helpful EXCEPT the asian face lady in reception while I tried to order a breakfast. She was cold and rude on behavior. She is absolutely a minus to your hotel.

Location, location, location!!! Incredible to be able to easily get to all the Christmas markets, central shopping, The Dom and Harbour. Close to some lovely restaurants / coffee shops too.

The hotel did not make the preparations according to our stay.

Our room was not prepared and cleaned. Someone had obviously slept in it before. We were moved to another room, but it was in another building.

We paid for a late check out on one of the rooms but automatically at 11 the door code stopped working. The person on reception was different to the one we had agreed the late check out with so they didn't have a record of the late check out. The matter was however resolved very quickly and too our satisfaction. There was also unfortunately these was also building work going out out side one of our rooms which meant part of my party was woken up before 6.30 by the works starting, which was not something the hotel can control but would have been nice to be advised of.

Rooms were spacious and very clean and well equipped. Reception were very friendly and helpful.

Location in downtown Cologne, for the value, was unbeatable for the early December holiday period.

Hotel itself was fine - no complaints. If you are arriving by car, you will need to reach out to the hotel in advance for some guidance. We visited in Dec 23. The road that the SatNav took us to (10 metres from front door of hotel) was closed for road maintenance. This meant needing to park on the street illegally and block the traffic to unload the car. There is another street around the back that would work (this is also partly blocked), so hence reach out to the hotel. They can also recommend good parking that is 100m away. Only a problem if you are arriving by car and don't know the area.

We (family on holidays) stayed at the hotel as an overnight stop on a driving holiday. The hotel was great for this purpose. Very central location - Cathedral and Old City are a 15 min walk. Rooms are a good size with comfortable beds and very clean. Friendly and helpful reception lady.
