Wonderfull hotel, great spacious rooms with superb beds, fine breakfast. Little detour from the autobahn as stop on our way to Austria, but more than worth it. We come back!

What an interesting place to stay! It was like being at the start of a great adventure as far as the hotel was concerned. This recently renovated and upgraded property has great promise. Set in a wonderful parkland area, this historic hotel has rooms that have been skilfully upgraded and dining facilities offering traditional food and some dishes with a modern twist. Breakfast was brilliant with the widest choice we have seen in many years of travelling. Staff are welcoming, helpful and love to share their plans for the future – we wish them well in their journey.

Bad Liebenzell wasn't that interesting as expected, but has nothing to do with the hotel

Perfectly renovated old hotel with a great location at the end of the city park. Very nice staff and excellent service at the bar and in the restaurant.

This place is worth a visit if traveling in the Black Forest. The setting is superb. the location appears to be a long way from anywhere but in actual fact is a five minute walk along the river to the little town of Bad Liebenzelll. On checking in we were given an upgrade to one of the rooms on the top floor with a balcony overlooking the gardens complete with fountains and sculptures. The bedroom was very spacious and well appointed. We were given Konus card on checking in which is such a bonus as we knew nothing about it. It is a travel card issued by the hotel which gives you free travel by train or bus around the whole of the region. Amazing value. We caught the train from the local station 5 minutes walk away and went into Calw for the day. Calw is well worth a visit. We ate in the hotel that evening and the restaurant is beautiful and the food was good. Breakfast is exceptionally presented with a huge choice . Cannot rate this place highly enough. It was perfect in every wayt

Tea and Coffee facilities in the room would have been the I the icing on the cake and maybe a welcome drink which was offered by some of the other hotels on our tour.

What a fantastic hotel in a beautiful park setting. Family run. Everything was of a high standard. Loved the decor. Excellent restaurant. Probably the best hotel of our driving tour through France, Germany and Austria. My husband is already planning another holiday in his head so he can stay there again.

A beautifully renovated historic hotel in a stunning setting. Lovely friendly staff. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was the best meal of our European holiday. Perfectly located to explore the Black Forest area and relax in the thermal baths.

Newly renovated classy hotel and restaurant. In real life better than on photo. Everything was just perfect. And we felt like most welcomed guest.

There was literally nothing what we didn’t like.

We loved everything about the property. We were absolutely astonished. Everything was just perfect. The facility is equipped with the high quality natural materials (oak wood flooring in the rooms and oak wood furniture). The rooms are exceptionally clean (best we have ever experienced) and spacious and beautifully equipped. The breakfast buffet is like in Michelin-star Restaurant. Delicious, satisfying and with many vegan options (humus, vegan spread, pickles vegetable, cherry tomatoes, bell pepper, carrots, cucumber, variety of fruits). For the non-vegans the buffet includes delicious variety of cheeses, fishes and shrimps, ham, salami, eggs and cream cheese. Delicious coffee and Ayurveda tee, juices, mineral water and of course also muesli and granola, yogurts, etc. The staff was really friendly and helping, always smiling. We were over the moon.

Beautiful building, opened less than a month ago after a three year full renovation. Run by brothers from the same family. We booked pretty late as a stop on our way home, and it was great.

Tiny portions at breakfast. No shampoo or conditioner in rooms despite supplying bath robes and slippers. Bathroom was outdated compared to room. Woodland lift was a bit strange. Smoking from.neighbours balcony blew into our room.

Lovely airy room with balcony and great views. Staff were friendly. Powerful shower. Location was fantastic!
