It was really warm, no air-conditioning. Was up half the night because of mosquitoes. Downstairs area had quite a strong smell.

We were met by a child, his English was better than the owner who was more worried about the price I had pre paid. Would have been nice to have an open bar or the option of breakfast. The beer would have been appreciated.

Reading the rest of the comments, I booked this on Value only. TBH it was clean and warm and not bad. The hotel is just quirky in kind of a nice way. The hotel is owned by a old couple who I think must be at the end of their time with the place. The lady was friendly in the morning, with a pigeon German/English happy Easter conversation that was friendly. The view from the Hotel over the forest is to die for.

There was only the hotel room in which we stayed. Otherwise there was no other facilities existing or available. No food, no drinks, no soap, etc. The hotel is closed.

Not the most clean place. Nothing major, just has an air of general untidiness. The elderly gentleman at the reception took a VERY long time to figure out our reserved rooms.

It is a cheaper hotel for that area - close to the Swiss and French borders. It's set in a beautiful countryside area. I enjoyed the antique furniture filling the place.

The basic expectation from the stay would be clean bed sheets ,basic hygiene and make stay comfortable for guests and all three was so pathetic. Post the stay, entire family was sick with breathing problems, because the bed sheets were full of dusts. Basic hygiene rooms were never cleaned, bath rooms were never cleaned as well. While booking, they promised for breakfast, but they informed after reaching that it's not possible and we need to arrange on our own. It wa our mistake that we booked the hotel a day before, and we tried calling the property to shift the booking by one more day, the owner wasn't able to speak and hence we sent all the details by email and also booked the same rooms for next day. But later after reaching the location we were told that booking fee can't be refunded, and he was too rude and he was telling his own family stories etc and he also said something if you can't speak in English don't try to book hotels in this country. Such a racist comment after living in Germany for 15 years, we did speak in German at the location but since it was booking.com we sent email and messages in English. Now the entire money is gone for no reason and he didn't have courtesy to reply back to my emails also. And this is the last time I am booking something via booking.com as they also couldn't help in anyway and having such unhygienic hotels in their listing I can't risk mibe and my family health.

Accommodation is total bad with no WiFi working bad smell in rooms, no reception, alcoholic old age owners, bad response from owner when asked about WiFi issues. Booking.com is also waste as it can’t do anything over reported problems and blindly go with their agreement with hotel . Total waste of money. Please don’t go there as it is haunting experience. It’s like devils place all around

The couple running the hotel, who are well into their 70s, were very friendly, kind and attentive. Our room was spacious and contained charmingly painted furniture, the bathroom was clean, the beds and chairs were comfortable. The hotel restaurant is permanently closed and breakfast is no longer served, but you can still get a chilled beer and a kettle to make yourself a morning tea if you ask for it.

The view from the balcony is amazing. That itself made the stay wonderful. The balcony is spacious, with a table and chairs, so you can spend an amazing evening overlooking the landscape and sky. The room and hotel are decorated with old style furniture, which brought good memories of my chidlhood at grandma's house :p
