we liked that the restaurant opened at 17h30. The hotel had a nice atmosphere. We stayed just for a night on our way to the west and appreciated that it was close to the autobahn, but far enough that you couldn‘t hear it.

Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Everything was perfect. Actually.. booking.com states that they don't allow kids there. That's absolutely not true. Our 5 month old baby was welcomed and treated like the princess she is.

Romantic, beautiful views and fantastic staff really made this stay. The staff upgraded us to the suite, and it was just delightful. The food was absolutely perfect, and we'd highly recommend the salads and the fish.

Difficult to shower without soaking the entire bathroom. Self-service coffee at breakfast would be better for me.

We booked in this hotel very late at night as we weren't planning to stay and drive straight from Poland to Calais, but we were stuck in traffic so we picked Parkhotel Bielefeld randomly. The policy said check in would be 4pm to 11pm but the staff was still lenient to cater us even if we arrived way past 11 pm. The room is clean and perfect to rest, get refreshed, and regenerate for the next day drive. Breakfast was also great.the staff were the best, kind and accommodating.

I want to give 20 out of 10 if I could ;-) This hotel was our first stop-over during the long road trip. So when booking I specifically requested quiet room with concerns the hotel seems to be close to 2 roads intersection, and asked for extra bed. The owner upgraded us to a suite free-of-charge, already impressed before arrival! What about after arrival, the room, the garden, the mini wellness zone, the dinner, the breakfast, the owner and staff, all Great!

We were met by very friendly staff right when we got to the hotel. The check in process was quick and hassle free. The entire hotel was furnished and decorated very lovingly and with huge attention to detail. The Christmas decorations showed the same attention for detail. Our room was small but had everything you could wish for. There was a small coffee station, a very comfortable bed (firm mattress and several different pillows to choose from), air conditioning and the bathroom even had floor heating. The breakfast buffet was great! The hotel chose to package eggs and bread spreads etc in Weck glasses in individual portions - a very convenient, hygienic way to present the food, which at the same time is appealing to the eye and sustainable because it can be reused. A great way to make accommodations for the current situation without taking away from the breakfast experience. All in all we had a Great stay at Parkhotel Bielefeld and I can only recommend it!

Wellness area is tiny and crowded. There are only 3 long chairs and a Strandkorb for relaxing. Maybe during summer time when the garden is open it's better. We had to wait 40minutes for a cappuccino: we asked for a milk alternative, it was said to us that was no problem at all ...but we have been able to eat our breakfast and the cappuccino wasn't there and when it arrived it wasn't even a cappuccino, but a classic coffee with oat milk. I wouldn't have mind to change my order if I knew it would have been such a problem.

The room was spacious enough and comfortable. Very silent and quiet despite the main road in front of the door. Good buffet breakfast included. Big parking spot.
