Really nice hotel. A little on the expensive side, but with the facilities like swimming pool and Sauna, it probably fits in the range. Nice surroundings, with a beautiful church just around the corner. Breakfast is nice, but less choice.

Nothing was quite comfortable. We had a suite and the chairs and sofa (convertible beds) were hard and very uncomfortable, so we did not use them at all. The bathroom was okay, but tiny with an old shower, small sink, and no storage for toiletries. The beds were okay. Every seat and sofa in the lobbies were hard and uncomfortable. So, we spent our time in the solarium or out in town, which was lovely (and wet).

We liked the solarium, the location, and the breakfast.

For it being rather cool at night I woke up in the middle of the night hot. I did not ask, but a fan would have been very helpful.

The beautiful views of the mountains from the balcony. The buffet was good as well.

The shower in our bathroom was not draining properly and caused us to call for service twice. Parking was somewhat limited; but we always managed to find a spot.

Breakfast was excellent and offered many options. Dining room exceptionally clean, organized and comfortable. The proximity to town was perfect, just a few minutes walk across the River and there! Just adjacent to the hotel is a small playground where we enjoyed playing table tennis with our grandson while the younger child played on the play equipment (for the younger set). The rooms were comfortable and in the traditional Bavarian style. We enjoyed having a nice balcony to sit and enjoy the wonderful view.

It was very warm during my stay. Room had lots of ventilation, but without a fan to help move air around it felt very stuffy and stale. There were string lights right outside my room. They turn them off at midnight I think, but it was bright while trying to fall asleep.

Location was fantastic in Oberammergau. Many restaurants are within easy walking distance, including the one inside the hotel itself. Very good location if you are attending the NATO school. Incredible staff.

Bed and pillows weren't the very best. Menu in restaurant for dinner wasn't very interesting, food quite average. No fridge in the room.

Bathroom fairly small compared with a very good sized room, but still clean and functional. The FM radio control by the bed looked rather dated …could do with an upgrade?

Large corner room with balcony. Friendly welcome and guided to our room. Easy parking. Short stroll into town centre. Only stayed overnight did not go into spa area.

Very helpful personnel, they helped me to check in later than the opening ours of the reception as I was estimating a very late arrival. Communication went flawless, they really do their best to help a guest.

Size of the bathroom, little bit too small.

The meals were excellent, I really enjoyed the restaurant's menu and breakfasts. The stuff was extremally helpful and friendly. The sauna was also amazing. Highly recommended!
