Carpet in corridors needs replacing because of wear . No Netflix and televisions are very old and not “smart” type to be able to change languages .

The hotel is well located at the entrance to the city centre with easy parking. The first days breakfast was good but the second day running short of items at the buffet. Very large bedroom. The breakfast room is spectacular.

The parking garage was OK for our car, but SUVs, large cars, and American drivers should not plan to use it. Accessing the parking is best as a 2 person activity - one driving one on foot at the desired destination. Unloading the car before entering the parking garage is not a suggestion - you can't get the doors open that far once you've parked.

Excellent location, even though finding the car entrance is tricky. The breakfast room is bright and relaxing with free mini-newspapers in several languages. It was directly at the start of the Light Festival route. Lots of small comforts in the room. Very large rooms. Convenient split toilet/bathroom.

Impressive old style hotel with high ceilings. Well situated on main Street close to station. Extremely large double bed. Toilet separate to shower. Ample breakfast (although on the Sunday the staff were overwhelmed by the speed at which the food disappeared!)

Its an older property but they seem to be staying ahead with renovations.

Large rooms and location was close to everything in old town. I really liked the cocktail lounge on the bottom floor.

Breakfast was underwhelming and in a very crowded space with overworked staff. Difficult to get needed silverware, etc. I would not pay for breakfast at this hotel again. It did not meet expectations for the price. No non-dairy options for vegan cotravelers.

Very comfortable extra large bed. Very near the train station and downtown. Cocktail lounge under hotel open until late.

The second room we stayed in had all the heatings off for apparently quite some time and it was really cold there. We switched them on, but since the room is really big, it was ok to stay in only the next morning when we were leaving. It was cold and damp there.

The building needs some maintenance to keep it nice

The breakfast was good. The chief made a wonderful omelette every morning at my request. It is an old building (1891) and has some really classy decor in the foyer and dining area.

Bidet and toilet not in the same room. Bathroom getting flooded during showering even when paying a lot of attention. Showering in bath tap dangerous. Not enough light.

Our room was dark, especially the walls. We looked across the street to the park. Some young men hanging out very late at night in the park kept us awake. The old windows are beautiful, but do not keep out noise.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The building is beautiful, especially on the outside. The breakfast room is gorgeous and the breakfast very nice.

While the hotel tries to aim for a victorian style all through to the room, the room itself kinda lacks with the only remotely decoration being the upper sides on the ceiling, the view was behind the building, facing directly onto another building, u can't even look down. The room also is equipped without an AC and the only thing to remotely get it cooler is with a standing fan, which made the nights a bit uncomfortable. There isn't any heaters either so not sure how they do it during colder days.

The overal lobby and dining room gives u a rich and welcome feel. The staff is kind and likes to assist; we were given a knife, fork and plates to enjoy our custom cake. The minibar had a decent capacity to even store the cake! The breakfast is totally a highlight, having a nice room to eat in, with a widely variety of things to eat.

The building is very old and it shows. Carpet in the corridor is worn. The bench to put luggage on is in a very strange position almost closing access to one side of the bed: fortunately it could be moved.

Hotel is conveniently located just at the borders of the pedonal area. Parking available but at an extra cost. Good breakfast with th e traditional 'international' items Kind pesonnel.
