The cleanliness of the hotel needs to be improved. We found the mosquitoes that were shot dead stuck to the wall. The disposable plastic eyedrop bottles left by the guests staying the previous night were still left on the bedside table.

The owner of the hotel is a very kind lady. An elderly lady with glasses in the hotel restaurant is very kind and helpful. The breakfast in the hotel is excellent and unforgettable! For self driving families, staying overnight in this hotel is a good choice.

Check-in is only after 5pm. It was not a big problem for us. We arrived a little bit earlier and had a beer at the shop next door while we waited for it to open.

This hotel was a little bit out of our way to Fussen (coming from Landsberg am Lech by bike). But we were glad we could book it, since everything was full for this day at the time of booking (a Friday night). At the end of May, hotels get pretty busy on weekends. The ladies (owners) at the reception and breakfast were very nice. They speak English and they seem very glad to please their guests. Breakfast is very good, they serve you in your table (but is very well served and you can ask for eggs the way you like them cooked). They stored our bikes close to the Beer Garten at the hotel for the night which we appreciated very much.

basically it's more likke a youth hostel than a regular hotel. basic comfort, no amenities, a bit of mess but comfy beds and clean linens - and that's what counts ultimately. the main issue for us was that walls are paper thin and everyone depends on the attitude of everyone else. we unfortunately had drunk, loud and obnoxious guests in the room next door and we had quite a bumpy night. kudos to our host for trying to smooth things up though.

Compared to other available alternatives, it was definately the best price\service ratio. Building is not new, but everything we need was included.

We couldn’t figure how to turn on the heat but we ended up being warm enough.

The kind owner called us when didn’t show by the time we mentioned we would be there. She gave the door code and room number over the phone. It was so nice of her otherwise we would have been out of a room. They also made a nice breakfast for the both of us.

Where to start.??? The entree was very confusing. It was a small sized door which was closed. The staff wasn't really welcoming. The room was quite dirty, some tiles were missing. There was no shampoo. There were no curtains. The beds were not clean. Very very much flies. There was a parrot that could be heard through the whole guesthof and was constantly screaming. And the breakfast was dissappointing. The fruitsalad looked like it was cut and made yesterday. The apple was brown. And the breakfast room was very hot en messy and there were very very much flies. Resume, a lot of money for a very low quality. Would defenitely not recommend!

The only positive of this hotel is the that we could park near the hotel.

Although it is an old one, very well maintained. Rooms for comfortable & clean. Parking was just in front of the premise. Check-in process was smooth and flexible. Price is reasonable. I would recommend it.

We've travelled in family and spent 1 night in the Landgasthof Doldewirt. As we were obliged to check in later than expected we phoned in advanced and get all explanations on entrance and rooms. Everything was fine in the room, and the breakfast was just perfect !

We loved our stay here! A family run restaurant and hotel, the rooms and bathrooms were spotless, the beds suuper comfy and the rooms had everything you needed. The outdated looking hairdryer was pure magic. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful and we felt welcome at all times. We will come back for sure! Thank you!

- cleanliness was very disappointing (dust lints almost everywhere in the room) - room was very light-hearted, I could understand every word spoken in the neighbor´s room - mold in the shower - no hair drier, no cosmetic wipes - this looks more like a two-star than a three-star hotel - no washbasin closure - toilet seat wasn´t fixed properly - staff: friendly, but unkempt appearance - overall impression: run down - 83 EUR for one night including breakfast considered overpriced

+ location: more for tourists than for business travelers, beautiful scenery close to the Bavarian alps + free parking in front of the house + breakfast included eggs, sausage, cheese, marmalade, honey, fruit selection and fairly good coffee
