You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The original room I was given was not to my liking as far as cleanliness goes and I was quickly shown a couple of further room options by the friendly receptionist. The budget price of the room should not affect standards of basic cleanliness. The rooms are slowly being renovated / decorated (my 'new' room had a refreshed bathroom with new shower cubicle) but obviously the hotels income is not going to produce a change of standard.

NetherlandsVery poor standards of hygiene. My room wasn’t cleaned & the bin mot emptied for 3 weeks, though the beddings were changed. During my stay the shower cabin was never cleaned. To crown it all my suitcase with a code lock was locked by an unknown person. The hotel hotel responded to my complaint by throwing me out & accusing me of having locked my own suitcase and forgetting the code! Never mind the fact that that suitcase had never had a code!! Anyway, I spent money getting a key company to destroy the lock.

NetherlandsThe room is very noisy, I could here the direct neighbors on all sides incl dogs across the streets. The bathroom floor and shower didn't look clean and moldy. The bedroom floor was sticky.
The city center is close by and can be reached by foot. The price for the room was low. The towels and sheets were clean. The bed was OK for one night.
