The room we stayed in was really big and especially neatly decorated. The kitchen contained plenty utilities for cooking (pots, pans, cutlery, dishes, etc.). The owners were very friendly and even left us a small welcome basket :)

The exterior and interior hallway lighting did not function. We had to use our cell phone lights to get around the exterior and entrance in the evening. Another group arrived two nights later and had a difficult time getting into the entrance because it was so dark.

Great location! Looked freshly renovated. Nice view out of send floor balcony.

The appartement was told to have a private sauna. But, there is no mention to it at all within the appartement. I had to phone the host, ask her about it, and then she told me I could only book 24 hours ahead and that I needed to pay extra. I felt a bit tricked, because I would have love to do a sauna on the very first evening. Poor communication. Not the mention the fact that we needed to pay the stay in cash. Appart from these two little things, nothing to complain :)

The appartement is quite big for two people, the terasse is really nice and exposed south (so sunny all the day long). The hosts got us a little welcome present (a breakfast in the fridge) which was quite convenient! :)

it's is 2023, and there is no reason why one should carry thousands of Euros in cash converted from their original currency to pay for a hotel room - get a credit card machine, technology is out there. leaving almost 1000 euros in a safe for the host to pick up was tricky and felt a bit unsafe. getting the key was a bit like an escape room with codes and location finding, it was like getting to an Airbnb and not like a hotel room. the bed was a bit uncomfy and could use a renewal.

Overall, it was a great place to stay during our trip to Schwarzwald. the apartment was clean with all the amenities we needed for cooking storing and living for 6 days. the supermarket was just 2 minutes near the place which was extremely helpful and there were some restaurant options in the area - the Italian place is amazing!

Very clean. The apartment comes with everything needed. Coffee is provided. Pieces of furniture look pretty new to me; IKEA or similar, comfortable, functional. Very nice view of the valley from our apartment.

No A/C, and we were there on a pretty hot day. Hosts cannot control the weather, but maybe provide a simple fan.

Really nice weekend getaway in a beautiful location in the Black Forest. Also, the snacks left for us in the fridge (bread, cheese, meat, beer, and water) was a really nice touch!

There was a misunderstanding with the check-in process. In theory you would just take the keys from the box just outside the apartment, but I did not received the combination to open the box. In any case, it was solved within 15 mins by the host.

The apartment is new, very clean and spacious. There is everything you need inside, and can easily cook breakfast or dinner. The view and the atmosfere is also really nice. There was space for the car just in front of the entrance. With the booking you get also a bus card (konus card) for free that you can use to go from the bus stop (5 mins walk) to the ski slopes in Feldberg.

The two bedrooms apartment is on the upper third floor, and the roof slope causes inconvenience in significant parts of the apartment. Without preliminary notice, the host lady woke us up at 8 o'clock on Sunday morning by knocking on the door to get a deposit.

Good location for those who look for a secluded silent place close to various trails in the southern schwarzwald. The two bedrooms apartment has two bedrooms!

It was our third time at this hotel and I must say that lack of Breakfast, any people on site to support with issues and facilities; such as flooding showers made our stay disappointing this time. The beds were in a bad shape and require immediate replacement. There was also a minor disagreement with the staff, prior to our arrival; where somebody from the staff was really impolite demanding the full payment upfront; a couple of days earlier from our arrival. I believe due to many cancelations last minute; but that caused an unnecessary stress amongst us guests. After that incident, I believe the property owner intervened and managed to ease the stress.

Location is great. Good heating during Winter time and fully functional kitchen.
