The personnel at the Hotel were very friendly, and the rooms had a cozy atmosphere. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to the city center was convenient. I would definitely recommend Hotel Rose. Although we didn't have the chance to try the breakfast ourselves, our friends provided excellent feedback about it.

When I checked in I specifically asked when the breakfast begins in the morning, as my departure would be early on Saturday morning, and I had to be at the railway station at 07:00. I was told that the breakfast begins at 06:00. This turned out to be true for weekdays, but not in the weekend so I had to leave with an empty stomach. I should have double-checked, it was advised on the postage stamp-size card that was provided in the folder with the key card. So, beware, and read the fine print on that little card. The bed was excellent except the pillow which is stiff as a rock.

The quality of the room was very good. The room had a separate toilet and shower room. Good if you are traveling as a couple. The quality of the breakfast is excellent. Bedsheets and towels were new and fresh. The room was scruplously clean. The HD quality TV had 30+ channels, however no international media. Location is less than 10 minutes walk from the rail station and the center of Dortmund, "Markt" Decently priced for the quality provided.

Not sure the thermostat for the heating works (very hot) but the window opened so I survived.

Good value and a central location in the city.. It's obviously a converted office block and is not going to impress anyone you take on a romantic weekend but for a cheap place to stay while attending a football match it's perfect.

My only complaint was about problematic issue of reflecting light from toilet into room that was annoying during night.

A little dirty under the bed. No kettle in the room.

Maybe some flowers or other type of decoration would be useful in common areas. Rooms and the top level bar with the breakfast area are rather cool, but the other parts around the stairway still look like a hospital.

Not just a unique design, but some useful features, like a big storage area below your bed to place your luggage out of the way. Very close to the city center and the pedestrian area. The breakfast was delicious :)

Access to water was on the 7th floor.

The one staff member in the evening, a lady, was really helpful, I came in as I hurt my back and needed to lay down. She saw I was in pain and got me a room on the ground floor. The rooms were clean.

Room is tiny and minimalistic, you should expect nothing in there, only soap :)

Location is very good, close from most places we needed. Breakfast was convenient. Rooms are quite small but bed is comfortable and if you need quite place to sleep in adequate hotel this place is good.
