Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

GermanySwimming pool is very cold (energy saving I guess). The air conditioning is quite noisy. Personnel lacks problem-solving skills (i forgot my iphone charger in the room and at first they denied finding it, after I insisted it took them almost 2 hrs to magically find and return it).

An exceptional hotel in heart of Berlin. There is a huge aquarium in the lobby which shocks the imagination. The room was great, big, stylish and functional. But the most important and valuable thing for me was that I was able to book it Friday at 22 -- my flight was cancelled. At midnight when I reached the hotel, the reception was open and the stuff was friendly. Thank you 🙏
