How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content

- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).

It was impossible to set an exact room temp via the airconditioner. It's programmed in the way that can only lower or increase the current room temp by 3°C. In our room we found someone's food left in the fridge. We stayed in the hotel for several nights but we've managed to call to roomservice only once. All the remaining time it was just unavailable. It's also possible to order some water and snacks using the robot in the hotel but you usually wait for it to arrive for 2 hours+. The coffee machine in the room was broken
The hotel is located right nearby the KolnMesse so it's great location during Dmexco time. The room and the hotel itself is furnished and decorated very well. The breakfasts were great.

Bathroom door wouldn't close. Towel in room was dirty/stained so attention to detail and some basics need attention but breakfast was good, room was comfortable and spacious and the location is perfect for the Messe.

Too expensive for what you get. 160 euros per room without any breakfast and not even that spectaculair. Also quite far from the city centre.

AC was really loud (I woke up at 3am to put in earplugs) but the room was still quite warm even though it constantly was blowing. Probably the most ineffective system ever. It was not that hot ouside, but it was a lousy night of sleep

Poor staff and not a very welcoming check in (you check yourself in via a terminal). The staff treats people in a different way: when ordering breakfast, they asked me to pay a deposit for it. Another friend had to pay the breakfast in advance. Yet another friend could pay on checkout. It was also impossible to book a big table for breakfast so we could all sit together. Not what I would expect from a hotel like this.
Nice facilities, clean and modern. Spacious rooms.

sometimes they have problem in the system with cleaning, and cleaning skipped our room twice, but once I’ve told in the reception, they fixed the problem and were so nice to me
it’s really nice hotel of cologne, so modern and stylish, I love sizes of rooms and staff, specially barmen were so nice!

I enjoyed my stay, these are just details: Though I liked the breakfast options a vegan option for bread would have been very nice. Examples: vegan breadspread or sausage slices. To safe plastic refillable salt and pepper mills would be nice!
Building was spaceous, modern and well maintained. Tea and coffee were available at the room. Bed was very comfortable. Snacks and refreshments were available for free at lobby. Sauna was available at any time and was big and relaxing. Many good and fresh options were available at breakfast.

Bathroom could be slightly better taken care off. Calcium deposits on the shower heads which made it stuck, soap dish is nearly falling out of the wall and lights on magnifying mirror was not working.
Great location to the Lanxess arena, modern and spacious room. Gym and sauna are clean and well maintained.

Construction outside of the window :) it was very loud, especially in the mornings
I like Radisson Blu - it is always the very good quality: comfortable beds, clean hotel, good staff, amazing breakfast. We stayed with mom and my dog and we all enjoyed our stay. I also loved the proximity to Arena as we went to the concert one night and very nice residential area close to Arena.

Minibar service - robot is empty, nothing to choose from. Plus you have to wait robot to come to your room door to know this, there is no online menu or purchase option.
Very good hotel, walking location to city, to main bridge train and pedestrian bridge. Good sauna in the hotel, working till 23.00 , it has all you need and changing rooms. Good comfortable parking.

The location is a considerable walk away from the centre, but near underground and tram stops.
Clean, quiet and spacious. Good breakfast and helpful staff - plenty of underground parking.
