The breakfast was superb, with plenty of choice. The room was larger than we expected and the bed was huge. Location was just outside the town walls and quiet. Beautiful building, lovely welcome.

We had a family room which was a three bed suite with a bathroom with a shower on the first floor and a powder room on the second floor where the king bed was located. The first floor had a twin bed and then a pull-out couch bed. The pull-out was so uncomfortable that my daughter slept on the floor. The second night my husband volunteered to sleep on the pull-out and half way through the night he moved to sleep in a chair.

Excellent location right outside the town wall and convenient parking behind the hotel. Breakfast was very good and the hotel restaurant was our favorite during our three day stay. The rooms were spacious for our family of four and were very quiet.

The traffic noise kept waking us and there was no AC or fans. German hotels are always too warm for me, so I must open the windows. Either an adjustable thermostat or a fan would have solved the problem.

The location was convenient and the room was clean, large, and well appointed. The restaurant was good typical German fare.

Couple of minor things, I am 6ft1 had a slopped roof in the room. Bathroom was very tight and hard for me to have a shower. Only 1 pillow each, no facilities for coffee or tea in the room.

Breakfast : Best with very huge buffet. Room : It was small for three and for the price I paid, I was expecting better and bigger room. Location : Excellent (just next to one of the tower gate) you can stroll around the town by foot. (Night Watchman guided tour starts at the Market square was the highlight and a must to know more about fortified town´s history)

The room interior was a bit basic and didn't necessarily invoke any explicit cosiness, but was functional and OK. The shower cabin door didn't close well.

A big room with 4 comfy beds, clean bathroom, very good breakfast, convenient location at the outskirts of the town walls at a walking distance from the city centre, own free parking behind the hotel.

The layout / orientation of the furniture within the room could be improved. TVs are small and outdated, would be nice to have slightly bigger TVs and more English channels. (There is not much to do in town - small town and there are not other amenities in the hotel. So TV is the only entertainment).

Provided room was at ground floor at the corner in the courtyard which was fine however there was no view.

Location is very close to one of the main gates to Rothenburg via walk (less than 5 minute walk). Hotel is well maintained and nice. Staff were friendly.

Room was lovely and very modern in separate building from main hotel. Food was excellent in restaurant. Location next to old city center was perfect - right at the entrance gate. Plenty of free parking behind hotel.

The location is excellent as it is within the old town. The customer service is excellent. The room size is just right for family. There are ample if parking lots and best thing is all free! The breakfast is awesome! The spread is good and food taste is above the mark. My family truly enjoy it and probably the best hotel breakfast throughout our trip!

Bathroom was quite small, at least in the room I booked ( family room). There was no water cooker and coffee/tea which I think should be a standard at 4 stars hotel.

Location is perfectly just outside the old town. Parking lot is huge and breakfast has great selections. The old style interior was charming fitting to the town vibe.

Great location being just outside old town door. The gentleman at reception was exceptional giving us a great overview of where to visit and eat. Much appreciated! I asked for a kettle and this was attended to very promptly.

This location was just outside the gates to the old city where we took in the Christmas markets, historical tours and shopping. Very convenient!
