Although the hotel advertises being a bed and bike location, there is no real storage area for bicycles. I was directed to an inside courtyard (usually used for outside seating), and needed to negotiate two short flights of stairs.

This hotel is right in the center of Heidelberg, but on a quiet side street without through traffic. Everything is only a short walk, and the rooms are clean and comfortable.

Hotel Regina is in an excellent location only 4 bus stops from the Hauptbahnhof and right on the edge of the Alt Stadt. It was perfect for being close to restaurants, shops and walking excursions, as well as conveniently located to Bismarckplatz, the main central bus terminal. The hotel is small and staff are extremely friendly. Breakfast was wonderful and selection was excellent.

The staff were friendly and helpful. As requested, we were placed in a quiet room on the lower floor. The room was a bit on the warm side, but then so was the weather when we visited. The location was excellent: convenient for transport to and from the railway station and within walking distance of the Altstadt.

Rooms and the place is a bit dated, but everything is still working and clean. This is a basic ”hotel” for a short time stay. Noise from the corridor/other rooms can be disturbing, as the insulation is quiet poor.

The location of the hotel was suitable for us, as it was not right in the city center, but in the walking distance. We had a spacious room with a balcony. There was a fridge in the room. The breakfast was doable and could be enjoyed in the small court yard. They had an own parking place and it costs only 10 euros per night.

Nice silent hotel next to walking zone even if there was local season street carneval (also nice experience). Reception available until 7 PM, keys and parking were comfortably to find and use.

My stay at Regina was wonderful. The staff were friendly and the hotel itself very cozy. The bathroom was super clean and the breakfast buffet had many options and good quality.

Very cozy atmosphere, a bit of a rétro vibe but in a nice way. Definitely different from the perfect, sterile and always identical mega-brand hotels you find everywhere. Good location, a big public transport hub is just behind the corner, making most of the city easy to reach.
