All in one hair and body wash, i bet hotel management does not have same at home, but good enough for guests. Public around train station late at night, including someone sleeping rough or maybe just passed out just next to the hotel. TV channels almost all German, very few international.

Right over the street from the train station, coming in on a late flight it was a good option. Maybe the quietest room i have ever stayed in. Everything functional and clean. Decent breakfast but nothing fancy. The building is nice.

There were no toiletries or cosmetics in the bathroom beyond the dispensers fixed to the wall. Breakfast was overcrowded on both days. Parking is not included. The car park behind the hotel costs around €40 a day and there’s not even a special arrangement with the hotel to reduce this cost.

It is stylish and the food is excellent, both at dinner and breakfast. The staff were very friendly.

Just the design floor of the shower could sacrifice a bit of the fanciness to meet the safety standards. I consider myself a not-clumsy person and I almost fell three times. But apart from the ice-skating ring the toilet was very well equipped.

The location is very good. The room was clean. The checkin was easy. The staff was friendly. There was a hard upsell for adding breakfast. The lobby is garish. The room was oddly shaped and small. The view was the mechanical systems. We felt like this should have been a utility closet.

Our room was very hot and the aircon seemed to work but very slowly. We only stayed 2 nights so just opened the windows to be cooler. We were staying on the 6th floor so expected it to be a bit warmer. The pillows were too soft for our liking but again as we were only there for 2 nights we folded them up to suit us.

Location was great right by the train station. The hotel’s lobby, bar, restaurant were stunning where original features were kept and maintained with old photos showing the hotel back in the day. We also liked the fact that if you opted out of housekeeping for your stay they would plant a tree.

Beautiful hotel, very well located for the train station and the city centre. Room was comfortable and modern, quiet at night. The hotel facilities including the bar and the breakfast were excellent. We had a great stay.

First time traveling in Germany as a mom. No fridge in the room meant I needed to stall my breastmilk at the reception which was pretty far from our room as the hotel is huuuge. It was inconvenient. The air in the room was extremely dry (consequence: red eyes, sore throat), couldn’t fix it with the climate system. Hotel lobby and outsides look great, but the room itself didn’t have much style. Toilet seat was askew.

Cleanliness and lobby looks impressive. Location was very good.

Very close to the train station, so it was convenient for catching an early train. The hotel is comfortable and very clean. We were traveling with a dog and we got a special set up for it. Appreciated.

The breakfast was expensive at €28 per person per day for a mediocre breakfast at best. However, there are many restaurants and cafés around that are cheaper than the hotel so this wasn't a big deal.

The hotel was in a good location, close to the central train station to get you to anywhere in Hamburg. The hotel was clean, and the rooms were spacious.
