Wifi in Room 10 is almost non existent, you need to place the router closer to the end of that corridor

A very cosy place in the middle of beautiful nature. It felt like we went through a portal to slower and more historical age. Very cool place with calm atmosphere! Many hiking trails around, crystal clear lake literally in the yard. Perfect breakfast, eggs (boiled and pan cooked) cereal, many options for cheese, breads, veggies, fruits, juices, teas - and many more tiny details. The sharable bathroom and toilet is not a problem, for every corridor there’s 2 of each. You also have a sink in your room, so it’s convenient.

The rooms were very outdated. Could use a bit of investment. Also, there were no shampoo/soap available. Maybe it's a cultural thing, but I was expecting them.

Great localization, right by the lake. We didn' eat there, but there is a restaurant in the building. Breakfast was great, we could even make come pancakes, so top! Parking available next to the hotel. Feels like a great place to spend summer holidays.

I don’t like having two single beds pressed against each other and called a “double bed”, but I know that’s normal in Germany. The bed covers was too hot for this time of the year.

I expected the room to be warm upon arrival but it was cold; there were no shower gels so we had to take shower with the liquid soap for hands

Fantastic location, close to Fussen and the castle's, situated on a small beautiful lake in the forest. Extremely picturesque. Swiss cows in the distance with the quiet chimes of their bells as they grazed. Loved it!

The only thing that could be better is the condition of the facility itself. The floor was creaky, we heard every step of our neighbours and ourselves. Soundproof is very poor, especially when the restaurant was open we heard the noise from the ground floor. And few times there was a bubbling sound from a sink even though nobody were using it at that moment.

Hotel is located in a gorgeous place next to the lake surrounded by mountains. It has a good restaurant with delicious food, very nice staff, individual parking free for guests. Our room had shared toilet and bathroom but it didn’t cause any inconvenience as they were clean, in a good condition. We really enjoyed the time spent there.

This place has a lot of character and is located in a very scenic location beside a lake. It was built in 1935 and has not been spoilt by later improvements

The smokers on the deck by the restaurant was blowing right into our area. We asked to sit away from the smokers and the owners said we could not sit inside because it was inconvenient for the staff.

Three things I didn't like: 1. Forest and lake - a lot of mosquitoes, but there are no nets on the windows, so at night it's either stuffy or you're a victim of mosquitoes) 2. The floor in our room was incredibly creaky, we are not afraid, but I think the neighbors were noisy. This is, of course, a beautiful old house with a plank on the floor, but still - it was quite noisy. 3. There are two souls, but you can only enter the second one by going through the first) Therefore, when you enter the first shower and close the door, you become a user of two showers at once) For the sake of justice, I note that there was never a queue for the shower, although many rooms were busy.

The location of the hotel is perfect if you have a car. If on foot - be prepared to walk along the picturesque road 4 km to the city. But for such beauty around the hotel, it's worth it. Breakfast included in the price is plentiful and varied. Staff, cleanliness excellent.

The floors and bed frame squeaked/creaked, doors opening and closing are very loud, pillows very flat, no area other than outdoor area for relaxing outside of the room (there is just one small wooden chair provided in the room) and no common area for guests… Some small improvements on guest amenities could improve guest experience.

Breakfast was good/ample. Selection of eggs, waffles, meat, cheeses, breads, vegetables, fruit, yogurt, cereal, tea, coffee, juice. The lake was beautiful. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Mattress comfortable. Rooms clean. Great views. Feel connected to nature.

Some toiletries weren't provided, e.g. shampoo, body wash. The homeowned restaurant closes early so having dinner there after a long day is not an option.

The location right beside the Alat Lake was absolutely stunning and relaxing. The included breakfast was tasty and the interior sweet and cozy. Parking costfree provided. Beautiful get away location.
