The Finnish Sauna was not 85 C. The thermometer is in a wrong place to measure the sauna temperature.

Sadly, the staff issues continue and the lack in presence of the owner is felt throughout. The Erbprinz is still a great house, but a bit more attention and consistent service would be greatly appreciated.

Great hotel to return to again and again, with a fantastic Spa and pool, great culinary offerings and a comfortable to luxurious accommodation and setting.

Fabulous hotel from top to bottom, friendly & thoughtful staff always happy to assist in every aspect, Spa area is nothing short than stunning, the property is well maintained & clean at all times, fast & steady WiFi, super comfortable beds & pillows, rich & high quality breakfast, also there is a Michelin star restaurant & a very cool bar inside the hotel, located in Ettlingen it's easy enough to come in & out from your daily trips, overall just an unbelievable stay at a very reasonable price, I can not wait to come back

The room was not as advertised. Bedroom was half the size and bathroom only about 1/3. One very strange thing was that they used two much smaller bed sheets to cover the king size bed. This meant that by the morning the mattress was not properly covered. We were generally disappointed by the size of the room offered, it was very cramped and not what we had reserved.

Booking.com starts first with the critical notes of attention: Hasty busy housekeeping service, skipped/forget the full bathroom (mini) wastebasket, had to ask for refill the empty soapdispenser, no refill of the empty tissuebox, complain about the so not neccesary floorcarpet-end besides the bed, cornerflap curled because of the door, so you could easily fall. Flap end was before NOT succesfull taped to the floor, so get rid of the silly floorcarpet! Or nail it to the floor. Breakfastbuffet choice was ok. Not outstanding for this 5 star private hotel. Wellness area: in the room long bathrobes, nice indoor pool, do not expect warm water, cosy real fire waxine lights near the pool, please re-think a re-charge battery option for cosy light instead of the real fire waxine! Several areas, clean towelservice excellent, fruit, watertaps, infused water, tea. Infra red relaxchairs, super! Please inform the guest about the instructions how to use, I had to ask. Separated discreted sauna is the only area without wearing swimsuit. The hotel is favorite for privat events till 23:00 o clock, also on a sunday evening. Inform your guest about an upcoming (private) event with ( some louder) music/DJ.

Friendly team receptionists, friendly team restaurant breakfast waiters, friendly team wellness! Tumbs up for them! Room very lovely floral decorated, separate compartment bathroom/toilet, nice small neat balcony situated cityview/central parkingspaceview/ view metro/tram stop (not disturbing for us, suprisely quiet!). Very good bed! I have to re-think about our own bed at home! Yes the hotel provides with 3 parking spaces load stations for e-cars, unfortunate our Dutch ANWB card didnt work.

The breakfast staff were not attentive. They were focussed more on tasks and less on the guests. Simple customer service training may help solve the problem. No iron or coffee making facilities in room.

I had a wonderful stay at Erbprinze Hotel in Ettlingen. The warm atmosphere and attentive staff made me feel right at home.
