Breakfast was excellent. The service during the breakfast felt very nice. The room was very comfortable to stay, but felt a bit cramped. Restaurant at the hotel was amazing! I will stay here again for sure!

Unfortunately the restaurant was closed on Mondays. Bad luck.... But other restaurants are available nearby, so not a big issue. I recommend the Indian restaurant, 10 minutes walk from the hotel.

Got a large suite/family room as an unexpected bonus. Comfortable bed. Free parking. Friendly staff. Decent breakfast buffet.

Really great breakfast - many different and fresh products. Stuff don't speak English well, but it is enough to check-in and check-out. Clean room, comfortable bed, good Wi-Fi range.

We needed an overnight place to stay outside of Hamburg and this was a good option. You can park any size car outside easily. Staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable (one level down). Wi-Fi connection was good. Nice to have restaurant onsite to have dinner after a very long day of driving. The breakfast spread had a very good selection.

i didn’t like the selection of food for breakfast but that’s just my preference, I also didn’t like the shower it was like the shower drain wasn’t working and the base filled with water and then it started to drain also the shower head would keep moving away from where I’d position. also wish there was a mini bar fridge in the room to keep some drinks etc cool

i liked that it was very clean and smelt very nice and was underneath a restaurant, I had a very good meal my first night there was so much food for one person but made it worth the price. also the garlic cream was divine. staff were great as my deutsch is not good and they spoke some basic English

The hotel is far away als anticipated,but there is a good connection with the bus to Bergedorf. The room looks cheap for the value.

We found that the shower ran rather too cool at times but a bit of patience and it picked up again.

We've stayed here a few times and what we really like most of all is the staff, who are without exception wonderfully friendly and helpful. The downstairs rooms have a lovely seaside decor and are quiet and comfortable. Breakfast can be eaten in the dining room, or in an attached marquee with excellent ventilation - good for those of us who are vulnerable to covid. There is a great choice of food, and if anything runs out then a quick word to the serving staff and it is sorted within less than a minute. We try to stay here for at least some of the time whenever we visit family in Geesthacht.

It's a lovely hotel. The room was large, clean, and well-decorated. There was a decent amount of room in the bathroom for all our clutter and the shower was OK. We enjoyed eating breakfast in the tent that adjoins the dining room. (That was our choice; you can also eat in the dining room.) Our room (23) was downstairs and looked out onto a grassy bank. It was very quiet. The staff are what make it exceptional. They really are very friendly and obliging. The hotel is only five minutes walk from Geesthacht, where you can buy anything you need. It's a short bike ride down to the River Elbe, and we hired bikes from the Tourist Information and had a pleasant cycle ride along by the river.
