Being British, I do like a kettle in the room, but as with many German hotels, there was no kettle. A bottle of water is provided.

Lovely location next to the church (bells stop at night!) and spacious twin room, with comfy beds. Good WiFi. The hotel is easy walking distance from the railway station, and walkable to the old part of town and castle.

Breakfast a bit expensive for the choice that you get. Sound insulation of the rooms not great.

Big and clean room, with space to work. Large windows for plenty of light, but also thick curtains to block it. Practical location. Kind staff.

It needs renovation to get rid of old stains of using. Wooden building structure is a bit annoying when cracking and nocking sounds are nonstop.

Bathroom was tiny, even by european standards. Finding the entrance was a little difficult, as there wasn't actually a sign for the hotel at the entrance. Parking is non-existent.

The old decor gave the feeling that the hotel wasn’t clean (although it was). It would go a long way if they would remove the red carpet in the rooms. The bathroom had a weird smell.

The staff was very friendly & the location was excellent. It was a 15 min walk to drop our rental car off at enterprise, and a 15 min walk the other direction to the old town (where the Christmas market was held). There were several grocery stores, book stores, bakeries and coffee shops nearby. The s-bahn and bus stops were a short 3-4 min walk away, which was very convenient. The room we stayed in was large and had plenty of room for the baby’s pack-n-play that they lent us free of charge. We had a great view of the church out our window. The room was several floors high without an elevator, but that didn’t bother us as it’s pretty common in Europe. We were encouraged to leave our stroller on the bottom floor and felt safe doing so. It was fine and no one messed with it during the 3 days/2 nights we were there. We opted out of breakfast so we can’t speak to that.

Good welcome. Pleasant area to stay, not too far from the station and a lively restaurant below. Good sized room but a bit old fashioned. Decent bathroom.

Hard to squeeze gels out of their containers. Soap dish (no soap) needed a scrub. No-one at reception after 9pm. No street plans seen until I enquired on last day: there were some but with no useful detail.

It was good to have a fan and a bath. Very clean, spacious room, nice décor, TV worked well. I used the restaurant one night. Location near to tram stop and also walking distance to main station. Mainly quiet. Good breakfast and coffee in pleasant room.

The room was fine, but the absence of air conditioning in a hot day makes it hot. The hotel provides the fan and it helps. Somewhat.

Excellent location to visit the city center. You can park your car in the neighborhood with a ticket that you can get at the reception (for additional cost of course). If you do not look for businesshotel but for family owned traditional hotel, this is a nice choice.

The ventilator in the bathroom is too loud. Breakfast is unfortunately too basic and lacks variety, wasn't worth the amount charged

Well located in between the train station and the town. Room is quite basic but was big and clean. There is no elevator.

There is no lift, but the personnel helped us with our luggage.

From the minute we walked into the hotel is was great service with a smile. Breakfast was great and also done with exceptional service. The room was big and the bed comfortable. The lady was so helpful , she gest a ten out of ten , and we was able to see the best of Heidelberg.
