Nothing: loved the vibe!

On our way back from Tuscany to the Netherlands, we found this lovely hotel that gave me a very good 'family-feeling'. The restaurant served a wonderful meal and the drinks on the terrace were enjoyed. Next time this will be our hotel of choice for a long weekend in the Schwarzwald. Great walking opportunities in the vicinity, great roads to drive and beautiful scenery. Friendly and helpful staff make it all work.

The location was beautiful. We only stayed for one night since we were driving back home. But you could stay here for multiple days and enjoy the beautiful nature surrounding the hotel.

No warning that the Junior Suite would be on the 3rd floor with no lift. I'm disabled and it was tough going climbing upstairs each time.

Nice property nestled in the Black Forest foothills. Family-oriented with toys and games outside and a play room for kiddies inside.

We lived on the third floor, the lack of an elevator is definitely noticeable. Porters of luggage for an adult couple, very uncomfortable. The lack of a refrigerator in the room is very noticeable.

Relatively modest breakfast, lacking fresh vegetables. No omelet is served and the eggs provided are very uncomfortable to peel. On the first day we arrived we asked to buy a cake. What we got was a not fresh microwaved apple pie.

Only one point, like to many hotels today no lounge area to sit just dinning although the picture of our room had a settee for 2 it only had one chair.

Located in a nice quiet area, welcoming staff and really nice meals. We had half board, and totally exceeded our expectations. There is a possibility to rent e-bikes, which was a lot of fun.

This hotel is perfect for families because the rooms are big and it has an amazing big outdoors area where the kids can play and the parents can enjoy the views. The staff of the hotel was very nice and kids friendly

Breakfast was too much of a self service including long waits at coffee machine, bit first come first served, once first people down to breakfast had taken most of available bread and eggs there was no replacement. Most of what was available was processed food.

Beautifully located hotel (if you like the country side). Good and well sized rooms with large bathroom. Very well organised hotel. We were deeply impressed by the efforts of the staff to prepare a 4 course vegan meal for us as well as a very good breakfast, again completely vegan. Thank you so much, it made us feel very welcome.

As there was no menu we didn't know about dishes for children. Thin curtains in the room.

Very clean, spacious, cozy room. Friendly staff. Very nice location with different outdoor activities, also there is a playroom for kids inside. Good dinner (no a la carte though) and breakfast. We stayed only for one night, but definitely would stay for longer.

Very friendly and helpful staff, exquisit food and accomodation and many oportunities to have a good time within the location (table tennis, badmington, football) and outside - e.g 4 hiking trails.
