Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe restaurant closes pretty early and getting Uber eats or lieferando or one of the other delivery services is hit and miss - it’s a bit far out of the town for good food service after 8pm.
Great base to explore Hamburg or as a stopover for long distance travel. Excellent car park with no height limit. The river view is lovely and there is a ferry to take you to the town just outside.

This hotel has the perfect location with a view directly to the Elbe River. At the same time next to the Airbus Facility in Hamburg. So if you are interested in following huge ships along the Elbe entering the Hamburg Harbour or you are a plane spotter - this is the place! Lots of green around the hotel. We stayed in an executive room and enjoyed this.

Of course his behaviour is my responsibility but it would have been nice to have been able to lock the balcony door.

United KingdomRiver view restaurant is just a bar overflow area with a few table outside. Cannot actually see the river. The two poor waiting staff struggled as very busy but did a great job, helpful and smiled. Room was very hot and the a wasnt actually turned on in the hotel. The maid had to bring a fan up. Made the room uncomfortable temperature wise.

Interesting location outside Hamburg, but still near with the ferries. I could not cast from my Android to the television set. About 50 Euros by taxi from Hamburg centre to the hotel.
