Parking was a block down the street, open to other's I didn't think it was secure at night. Hair dryer the boss says it was from the 20's not good for drying her hair.

Location was excellent to walk to major attractions.

The location from the train station is roughly 5-7 minutes which is great! The location to the Christmas Market is roughly 5 minutes, as well as proximity to other local restaurants or the grocery store. We truly enjoyed the staff and were very welcoming upon arrival. We enjoyed the spacious room and how beautifully rustic it all was. The bed was large and the bathroom was lovely. Very quiet, and did not feel like I could hear anyone else around us at night! Very good value for the space! You can purchase the breakfast for roughly €12 a person. The breakfast options were okay, nothing too special, however you could order eggs, omelette or a pancake which took roughly 5 minutes to get during a slower time. Overall, the stay was wonderful and the town was beautiful to see, especially during the holiday season.

The hotel restaurant menu was lacking, so we ate elsewhere. To be fair, footfall was so slow we wondered if it paid them to open. Oh, the toilet; we HATED it. You could view your daily deposit!

Hotel was a bit expensive and as a result we could not afford breakfast.

Large comfy room with lovely towels.Excellent location next to porta nigra and main shopping areas although still quiet. Ten minutes walk to the station perfect to go to Luxembourg on a day trip. Good free parking 2 minutes walk away provided by the hotel, loads of spaces.

The double/queen bed consisted of a double/queen frame and two single mattresses. The mattresses did not seem to be the same as mine was comfortable and my wife complained about the hardness of her side. She confirmed that the sides were not equal by resting on my side.

The location and appearance of the hotel was outstanding. The staff was helpful and friendly.

For a longer stay we would have been keen to have a refrigerator/minibar in the room. Our room was not air-conditioned but it did have sun awnings. In any event although the weather was exceptionally hot, our room did not become horribly hot.

We were pleased with our brief stay at the Hotel Römischer Kaiser. While the style of the hotel is certainly not "contemporary" and while the comfort level is definitely not "luxury", our room was fair sized, quiet, very clean and satisfactorily equipped. In particular the WiFi was good, the shower excellent and the towels plentiful and in good condition. Given that the hotel is very conveniently located, provides free parking and has an elevator, we would describe it as a reasonably priced, rather comfortable traditional hotel. Check-in and check-out were handled efficiently and in a friendly manner. Maps of the city center and other information for visitors were readily available.
