The room view was incredible. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was huge and luxurious. It was a very cozy room. It’s a ‘rustic’ place with charm.

Very friendly staff and a great location, thank you very much for this positive experience and the flexibility with breakfast. Just as information for other guests: There are always a few last minute tickets for the castles available at around 7 am every morning in the main ticket office in the center, so an early bird can catch a worm in case everything is already sold out online...

Nothing that I can note.

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived to be given a room with a view, for no extra cost, as I had booked one without. The staff were very kind and helpful. I was also taken back by the generous breakfast provided for such small price, delicious and fulfilling.

The only slight issue was that the drain in the shower was slightly blocked so the water pooled in the shower tray while showering.

The castle view was amazing. By the time we arrived most things in town we closed but it was worth the long travel just for the view from the balcony. The castle view was so special and the actual property was beautiful too. It was only the next morning in the daylight we realised that you could also see the Hohenschwangau castle from the front of the property. The staff were really helpful and friendly and breakfast was such good value for 1 Euro!

Property needs some updating- our shower would not drain so we had to turn it off every 30 seconds to prevent floor from flooding. Towels were very thin. Historic house in an attic= creeky floors and low sloping ceilings. Check-in time was a little late- 5 pm. Breakfast was ok, coffee was terrible.

We stayed in the attic suite which had a balcony and a beautiful view of the Neuschwanstein Castle! The house itself was historic and beautiful! Bed was comfortable. The staff was very welcoming and gave us a great restaurant recommendation to Il Pescatore in Fussen- one of our favorite meals of our entire trip! Location was excellent and allowed us to get an early morning hike to the Neuschwanstein Castle, beat all of the crowds & tour buses and get amazing photos!!

Bedroom was a little cold, even after turning up the radiator.

Our biggest complaint was that there was no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom. There was only a bar of soap. Otherwise, the stay was very comfortable.

This was a lovely BnB with a great view of Castle Neuschwanstein! Breakfast was lovely and delicious and the owner was very accommodating when we arrived early for check in!

The building is a bit noisy. Someone left the ventilator in the bathroom on, and it was difficult to sleep. The internet connection in the upstairs room didn't work. It was fine on the ground floor, though. Not many choices for breakfast, but overall fine

Check in time of 5pm might be OK for the host but as a guest I found it a little late. Watch out for the giant mosquitos in the bedroom and bathroom (September).

The location was good for visiting the castles. The room was large and the view of the castle from the balcony was stunning. The breakfast was ok. Free on site parking was a bonus. Overall, not the friendliest of places and a bit overpriced for what it was but probably normal for this tourist area.

Breakfast started too late if you wanted to queue for castle tickets at 8am, could start earlier. We had to miss it.

The breakfast was limited, especially for vegetarians. Mostly meat and just a few slices of cheese, served on a separate plate for each room. We asked staff to not bother serving us meat, but the following two mornings it was still there.

Excellent location with a beautiful view of Neuschwanstein. Close enough to Schwangau, which has some good restaurants (recommend renting a bike to get around). Our room was beautiful and comfortable, very clean.

The location was excellent. We have a beautiful view of the Neuschwanstein castle from our balcony. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was very good. The proprietor was nice and friendly, even though we had to check in later than the appointed time (we are sorry about that).
