The only downside was the demeanor of the female server during breakfast. Perhaps it was due to the lack of tipping, though I can't say for certain. Nonetheless, her level of service didn't quite meet the high standards set by the rest of the hotel staff.

It was just a beautiful place to stay. I loved the tranditional German decor and vibe.

A good decent Hotel, The single room I had was Ok, the bed was a bit hard but still OK. The hotel somehow gave me that authentic German village feeling.

Checkin was a bit chaotic, our preferences had not reached the hotel. So they needed to improvise.

Nice complex of buildings, playground, biergarten, restaurant (closed Sunday and Monday) and swimming pool/wellness area. Split level hotel room was very pleasant.

The location right at a Street is practical, but not so charming. Though once on the property you don’t hear any cars going by and you feel sheltered.

The property is special, unique and charming. what I loved most about my stay was the staff though. From every person at the front desk !! over the staff at the breakfast buffet - Marina and the colleagues !! - to the house cleaning personal!! Every body was outstanding in their customer service and going above and beyond!

Pillows were terrible, the worst I’ve had in a good hotel WiFi was poor - not even adequate to fill in the passenger locator form. A high quality hotel should provide good WiFi without additional charge Access to pool should be included- I note the excuse made but 2 other hotels in the area do not charge

The hotel is rather expensive and the restaurant does not have a very wide offer. Moreover, the basic free internet is quite slow.

The hotel has a very authentic decoration which gives a very romantic and warm atmosphere. Moreover the restaurant also features these authentic elements with some nice signature dishes.

Unfortunately, no vegan options. The safe did not work. No lift, I had a very heavy luggage. And I am not too fond of carpet, I really prefer some more hygienic option.

Restaurant was closed for holidays! There was NO mention of this when we booked!! Other hotels mentioned this on their websites so we avoided them. We would not have booked this hotel if we had known this. Also the room was VERY expensive compared to others in the area so we expected a bit more. Decor was old-fashioned and twee. Double bed was made of two singles joined together and not very comfortable.

Breakfast was good, service was good. Lots of space and facilities.

The hotel is way below the 4 star level. There were huge white stains on the furniture, no proper minibar, only soft drinks and chips, one set of towels and bathrobe and slippers, even though the room was booked for 2 adults... One the sinks was with a big crack. Breakfast is poor, and for some reason we were not offered a coffee by the stuff, while everyone else was... we thought it must have been because we were the only non-German speakers in the room. So we had to get it ourselves. The stuff in general was just horrible, not polite, unfriendly. They were extremely rude and almost barked at us when we wanted to play a piano (that was open) in the lobby and when our son tried to climb a tractor that was standing at a lawn of the property, and looked like a sort of object for taking pictures on. I get that we were probably doing something that was not allowed at a certain time (or at all), but first of all we didn't know those rules, and secondly and more importantly there are different ways of communicating it. And the pool is just bad... it looks like it's from the last century and hasn't been maintained ever, rusty handles, dangerous slippery tiles, jacuzzi that's not working... uncomfortable temperatures... no proper changing rooms, while our room was in a different building. It was a short one night stay, we wanted some comfort, but it was a true disappointment!.

The bed was comfortable and the room was big.
