Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe beds are firmer than my preference. There is no air conditioning and I had to open the balcony door for fresh air at night. It was a sliding door and didn't have the tilt function.
The room was spacious and the staff were very polite and helpful. They treated me and my dog very well. Breakfast was wonderful. The access to public transportation was great.

Germanythe only things I would mention is that the hotel is not super central, the location worked perfectly for me though.
This was my 5th stay at Parkhotel Rothof. I came for business related reasons and I felt very comfortable in those spacious rooms facing the park. everything is always super clean and the gym is very well equipped, no comparison to other hotels. I want to point out the extra friendly staff, especially Pia K. is a gem - friendly, detail oriented and just a sunshine of a person!

PolandThe hotel is beautifully located in a middle of a park. It is easily reachable by public transport from the airport, but also it takes a short journey to reach the city centre. The hotel rooms are classy and clean, very comfortable to stay in. Our room had a nice balcony with an amazing view of the park. The staff was helpful and polite.

GermanyStreet is a bit noisy, which you don't hear at all when you have a garden view. I am not content with the quality of soaps and lotions - but that is individual taste I guess. In an ideal scenario there would be a tea/coffee maker in every room.
It was my second stay and I am truly content with the hotel. Everything is super clean and comfortable. I def recommend garden view, as the street is a bit noisy. I would like to highlight the staff - they are so friendly and really making the extra effort!

The overall experience is great! The hotel has nice views, the location is good (you can get an Uber easily), the breakfast is delicious and lovely if you can sit outside. The parking garage is very secure but the access is a bit tight. If you have a bigger SUV, you'll still manage to use it but you'll have to take it super slow.

United KingdomI booked 2 rooms at this hotel via a 'Pay at the property' option. 3 days before the arrival date, I was charged 90% of the total sum, as well as currency commission for both rooms. When I tried to reason with the hotel staff that this was not an honest way to do business, I was repeatedly dismissed. They refused to issue a refund, compensate me for the currency commission and accept the payment at the property I had initially selected. Needless to say, I will never choose this hotel again. P.S. The rooms with kitchens look as if they haven't been renovated since the 90s

PolandIn a single room, the bedding was the size of a child's blanket. It was really disappointing considering the price for this hotel. In addition to the older people, the young team at the front desk stressed us out all the time through their messiness, communication problems and 'we know better' attitude. I was in a hurry for an event where I was working, and the young gentleman at the front desk insisted that I didn't have a reservation, even though I showed him an email confirming the reservation of 2 rooms that the hotel had sent me day before... On departure I found out that I had to pay extra, because the hotel has a habit of taking 90% of the amount for the stay from the customers' account, so there was 10% left to pay. So it was not a large amount, but it would have been nice if someone had warned me in advance.
Thanks to an elderly gentleman at the front desk, late in the evening I was able to exchange the feather bedding for anti-allergenic bedding. And the location was nice
