Everything was amazing! Our family of 2 adults and 2 teens found the Silver Fir suite to be perfect. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were immaculate, and the bathroom was spacious and well-equipped. Our hosts were amazing - they provided excellent advice on things to do, made dinner reservations for us, and were extremely welcoming and gracious. The breakfasts were delicious and freshly prepared. We also appreciated that they spoke English. The setting and location were ideal. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful, but not far from many activities. We would recommend the RotmeerHaus to any traveler and look forward to going back to stay there and explore more of the beautiful Black Forest!

Simply amazing! This place was the single best decision we made throughout our vacation. Our hosts, Rami and Michael are so oriented towards their guests' comfort and needs it really makes a difference. Clean and tidy, best equipment out there, great breakfast - these are just some of things that come to mind, but really are just a drop in the water. Keep rocking guys

Absolutely nothing, please don’t change and we look forward to returning.

We are a well travelled couple who has stayed at numerous B&B, this has to be one of our favourites. So much care and thought has gone into the design of the interior and no expense spared on the fixtures, fittings, furniture and bedding. I had long wanted to try a Dyson hairdryer and was not disappointed - first thing I bought when I got home - be warned! :) The breakfasts were amazing, again such attention to detail, nothing was too much trouble for their guests - loved it and thank you.

Als war Super.

We had a fantastic stay at Rotmeerhaus. Michael not only went the extra mile when it came to his hospitality, he went beyond. We took the train from Freiburg to Feldberg Bärenthal -the highest train station in Germany- 967m above sea level. From the train station it took about a 15minute walk passing the Schnapps Museum and Lidl Supermarket. As we approached Rotmeerhause Michael and Lily (beautiful dog) welcomed us at the front door, and we were immediately offered a cup of (very good) coffee. The room was immaculate, and the bathroom spoke of German quality at the best. The breakfast was the same as you can expect on first class and possible a little more. We did a small hike up the mountain to Zweiseenblick in the morning, and Michael also let us know that we can check out after the hike. This is certainly not all the time possible, however in our case he offer us this gratitude. I think when you stay here, the place will remain in your memory for a long while. We can recommend Rotmeerhaus to anyone who would like to enjoy some peace and quiet, and enjoy the Schwarzwald nature.

we had a wonderful stay here. Michael, our host, was welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was delicious. The vibe is relaxing and comfortable, encouraging you to slow down and enjoy. the amenities are great, and so very thoughtful. We are sorry we didn't stay for longer.

We loved everything in rotmeerhaus. The place is amazing with fantastic views, the service by the owners was the best we could expect. The breakfast was delicious and the location is perfect for visiting the black forest and the titisee area. If you are looking for a gorgeous place to stay in the south of the black forest reserve a room in Rotmeerhaus.

Nothing to complain about!

Everything was absolutely great. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, the place looks impeccable. I loved the fact that the bathroom was spacious and you have bathrobes and slippers + a super good hairdryer (important!). They paid so much attention to details that you even have an umbrella and a hiking bag in the room. Breakfast was super good! We will definitely come back!!

we had a wonderful weekend at the Rotmeerhaus. The house is lovely, the room is freshly renovated, with taste and very comfortable. The location is outstanding, with a stoning view on the Black Forest hills. But above all the service was incredible! We’ve been warmly welcomed, very professionally, and the breakfast was marvellous. Huge thanks to our hosts! We will surely come back! And in the meantime we warmly recommend you to spend a few days at the Rotmeer Haus.

Where to begin….the whole stay was amazing! From the moment we walked through the door we were made to feel at home and looked after! The team at RotmeerHaus went the extra mile to make our stay special. When we were arrived we were offered a drink and had a super relaxed check in before being shown to the room; which was incredible and Super high tech which I loved. The space is really clever and feels really luxurious while keeping the Black Forest charm. The breakfast was amazing and nothing was too much trouble. We really loved our stay and can’t wait to return!

Our only minor quibble was the firmness of the bed, which conspired with unseasonably warm temperatures to make it a little less restful than we'd have liked. The bed is a matter of taste ... and as for the heat, it's rarely 30 C in Schwarzwald.

We really loved this place. The hosts are remodeling this traditional farm house and you can feel their love in every choice of finish, facility, and furnishing. The room was rustic and modern all at once, immaculately clean, and felt like its own little world. We could hear cow bells on the next hill through our skylight window. The shower and bathroom facility in this room were epic ... we literally want to remodel our own home to capture the comfort level. Lots of exposed original beams and sturdy finishes make this German, yet it remains gentle and welcoming. Breakfast was superb and the hosts were incredibly warm and gracious. I would happily pay more for this room and can't wait to return and see what the rest of the property looks like when done.
