How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Electric car chargers were all taken by non electric cars. The hotel could sign post these more clearly, take license plates and inform/ discourage petrol/ diesel car owners from parking there.
A good selection for breakfast, hotel Wes well located within Koblenz and both modern and a little funky in design.

we couldn’t find fault with the hotel as long as you like a continental breakfast
it was an ideal location close to some very good restaurants and close to the Rhine and a short walk to the cable car which goes to one of the largest fortresss in Europe plus a short walk to the meeting point of the Mosel and the Rhine

No problem parking the car. Friendly staf, and the location in the middle of the old city with is very nice to visit. Breakfast was very good. The room was comfortable and very quiet.

We had to park in a public lot two blocks away. Tricky to coordinate luggage. Also we couldn't get the stopper out of the bathtub. Minor quibbles though.

parking is a bit pricy 15 euros over night and then 1 euro per hour after checking out, but the hotel did mention the fee in advance. so no surprise fee.
the facility is good, especially the mattress is very comfy and high-pressure shower

There was nothing we really did not like, perhaps the price felt a bit high. Also parking is a bit of an issue, the parking space is very limited and in most cases you'll have to resort to the shopping mall in front of it (closed 21:30-06:00), or one of the other nearby public car parks.
It is an OK hotel nicely located in the city centre of Koblenz. The room is nothing special but sufficient and nothing to complain about, although it could perhaps benefit from better ventilation, in particular the toilet. The breakfast was totally fine, and the outside area really adds to (the wasps don't).

If we had waited and booked on the day, the room was 30 euros cheaper per night.
The Barman was super friendly and helpful and by far the best member of staff at the hotel!

Room was comfortable and clean and the location of the hotel was good. Parking underneath was super handy. We had a drink in the bar and the bartender was friendly and welcoming. The nice cold beer was very welcome on a very hot day. No complaints from us!

AC did not work, so we had to open the window but the outside noise was loud; as a result we decided to leave a day early. Second chair was a stool, would have prefered an actual chair for second person to sit on at the end of a tiring day.
Hotel is well located near river, restaurants and shopping. Room was small but well appointed with hooks on the wall to help with storage. Excellent breakfast for 10 Euro/person. Good shower room, and the large window opened. Except during hot days of summer, this would be a good place to stay.

Exterior temperature was high 90’s and the three rooms my family rented had poor, if any, air conditioning. When we complained, the desk person said there was no maintenance person working, and the hotel was fully rented, so there was nothing she could do.
Within walking distance of major sites, modern tech approach, generally competent staff.

Only detail we didn't love is the bed, which was queen size, but 2 matresses, which makes it a bit unconfortable for couples... however, i think most hotels in this region have this little inconvenience. Maybe we could have ask if there was availability for 1 matress bed...
everything was good in the hotel, location, parking, facilities and the breakfast. Staff super friendly and helpful. Overall is a great hotel at a great location with new facilities. Good value for money.

AC didn't keep up with the heat. We thought it was just our room last stay, but this room had same issue. Breakfast crowded.

The AC was terrible. No where enough to cool the room. We had to open the windows all through the night.

Great location, beautiful spot for sight-seeing in Berlin. Very comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. Absolutely splendid breakfast thatsurpassed my expections: in addition to the usual English and continental breakfast options, including egg, bacon, pancakes, pastries etc, there were also fresh smoothies and little jars with berry mousse, Tiramisu or vanilla curd.
