Good location, close to the Main River, there is a breakfast buffet that is worth checking out, and the couple of things that went wrong were quickly made right by the staff.

Our time at Scandic Hotel was fantastic. The location is great and easy to find, plus it's not far from the center if you don't mind a short walk. Checking in was a breeze, and the staff were really nice. We picked a room with a city view, and we were thrilled with our choice when we saw it. Overall, we were really happy with our decision to stay there.

Water temperature was very unstable, kept changing from burning hot to cold. Quite noisy Ventilation was not good. I could smell the perfume of other guests in the morning (assuming from other rooms).

- I didn't fully like the area. It's convenient, but doesn't feel very clean and some dodgy people walking around. A 10 minute walk and then areas are nicer. - Unfortunately some massive buildings nearby are empty which makes it feel a bit eerie at night. - Iron in the room had burnt surfaces so I didn't dare to use it on my white shirt in case of staining. Small issue, but I need to iron my clothes when travelling too. - Coffee machine at reception should be free, especially since breakfast is 24 Euros. :-) - Another small thing but TV remote control felt old and dirty and wasn't working very well.

Scandi hotel chains always have a certain standard, that's why I like to book them. This place met my expectations; clean, safe, well organised and spacious rooms with all that you need. This is what I liked the most: - Comfy room and bed, comfy lounge chair in room, desk for working, tv, and a spacious shower - Reception was super busy when I rushed to pick up my bag and they told me to ask the bar keeper who was super friendly and helpful. Thanks! - Breakfast is expensive yes, EUR 24 (in Stockholm it would be maybe EUR 18-19) but it's amazing if you have time to sit and brunch - The design of lobby and breakfast areas. Gorgeous! - Easy to check in and check out - Nice soaps in bathroom - You can ventilate room by opening windows (only in ventilation mode) - Near to train station - Near to river for nice walks - Bright and clean room - Worked perfectly well to work in the room (I would have preferred the lobby area but due to an event it was too busy)

I was there a bit early and couldn't check-in, even without going to my room, it was not offered. I asked if I could leave my bag and it was alright but I had to wait until the busy moment at 15h to check in.

Amazing gym and great breakfast, I loved the waffle maker and juicer for veggies. The lighting was nice too.

The price is big for what this hotel offers. The food from breakfast was good, but if you order in the evening you do not have many choices and those choises are little, expensive and not tasty at all.

Bathroom shower was badly insulated, with water seeping on the floor during the shower. Additionally, water was either too hot or coldish.

Interesting room design and decor, with a great view (room was on 9th floor). Outstanding breakfast!

Perhaps the price was a bit high compared to the many other hotels available. But the view made good on everything.

The view of the city is amazing. The location close to the station and the museums should make it a preferred choice for travellers. I did nearly everything on foot.

Lights not working properly, noisy lifts, no stocked mini bar in upgraded rooms. Last year when you upgraded you had a full mini bar. Expensive food in bar

Air-condition seems to be centrally controlled. A little warm to our liking

Convenient location 8 minutes walk for us, good size room and bathroom. No early check-in permitted even an hour earlier, but the most amazing thing about the hotel is Breakfast, a must try while you are there fresh juice, choices of cheese, waffles, and hot meals.
