Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Czech RepublicPlease add blackout curtains. Summer is around the corner and sunrise is very early. Without them it’s kind of hard to fall asleep with a lamp shining on the street at night.
Can’t empathize enough what a great experience it was, staying at Scandic Munich. The location was perfect and easy to navigate to by car and public transportation. Convenient underground parking, clean and tidy hotel with good food. The staff was also excellent. They made check-in and check-out a breeze.

Italy- breakfast too expensive - there is no possibility to have the breakfast "á la carte" (e.g. just a coffee and a croissant and the main cafeteria). There is only one mini-shop and one automatic coffee machine.

United KingdomI knew it was quite a walk to go to the center but didn't expect that long. A tram is located just in front and makes a huge difference but I like to walk and walking to the center would take almost an hour. Breakfast is a little bit too expensive as well.
The hotel standards and style was perfect. All very good with a nice bar downstairs. Room size was as described and allow enough space to have a luggage and walk around. The bed and pillows were very confortable.

NetherlandsThere isn't much to complain. I would just recommend getting few extra waffle machines, as waffles were rather populair among the young and old😉 so we had to queue for awhile for our waffles, but those were sweet worries, nothing affecting the rating.
As usual with Scandic the breakfast buffet was great. Kids loved the bunk bed. Staff were really nice and I found it great to get reply from hotel for a query done prior to booking the room within a short period of time.

SwitzerlandThe parking in the attached garage with reserved spots for the hotel is EUR 30.- per day. The listing only said that there is parking and not that it's free. And the parking garage doesn't belong to the hotel so they have limited influence over the price. And I could have gone and found some other spot in the area to park. I'm just saying this was surprisingly expensive. I didn't expect this because the hotel is not in the city center.
Very nice and helpful staff. Comfortable design of the rooms and a pretty well equipped gym. A pretty fast and stable internet connection that doesn't disconnect you randomly after a few hours. The room is quiet even though it's next to a busy street. Everything was clean and functioning.
