There was a lot to be desired, like not providing shower gel and shampoo, or not having any recreational facilities. The rooms weren't also really sound proof and you could hear the neighbors. Thankfully none of them made any loud noises during night time.

The beds were not that comfortable for a night is ok but if you stay a bit longer it might be a bit on the uncomfortable side.

The location was great right in the center. The breakfast rounded up the stay and got me ready for the trip. Overall I would always stay there again.

There is nothing that I disliked. This time I would have changed my reservation from a 3-person room to 2-person room but this was no longer possible (as they were full).

Excellent value for money. No-nonsense rooms but everything you need is there. Good breakfast for a decent price. Also love the fact that they have a 3-person room available.

clean but fairly minimalistic, youth hostel like. eg, one single wall plug in the room, unable to charge mobile after going to bed (hate that!); poor acoustic insulation. graffiti all over the buildings in the vicinity…but - for compensation: all breakfast items were of BIO quality unless FAIR TRADE, luckily still with the taste of ordinary discounter food (still reasonable value for money…). all in all, bit ugly,-

logistically well located, public transport close by, shopping and dining as well. Fischmarkt within walking distance. Reasonable value for money. toilet paper supply was maintained despite illness related absence of room service…

Great location with easy access to the the train and very good breakfast. Nice, clean room and spacious bathroom. Basic yes, but so it was supposed to be. Overall excellent value for money!

couldn’t leave luggage at the reception for the afternoon as they were not going to be there all afternoon, not a bit issue as the station is close by but it is a bit strange that hotel can’t offer that service. couple of extra hooks in the rooms would be nice so that you can hang up your jacket.

The location is excellent, central in lively cosy Altona, with a nearby cheap indoor parkingfacility. Clean large room with very large bathroom! It fitted our needs perfectly for a good price.

On day of arrival there was a very moody woman at the reception. She refused so send me an invoice through email, which I think is quite strange in these times. And she forced me quite bitchy to decide whether to have breakfast in the morning. Bad service on arrival. The gentleman who was there on departure was very nice!!!

By the time I went to breakfast at 9:30am there was not much of the cold meats anymore.

The location is amazing. Room very clean and cost benefit very good. The hotel has a nice atmosphere and vibe - felt very comfortable in there. Would love to return to Hamburg and stay there again. Breakfast organic and good.

The receptionist was very unfriendly when we arrived, as if we were disturbing her evening. I had to show my passport to pay by credit card! Like stepping back a few years. Our room was next to a balcony. A sign asked residents not to smoke there, but they did anyway and the smell drifted into our room. The recycled grey water used to flush the toilet was interesting and there could have been a note about that. There was no shower gel in the shower.

Well located for our purposes. Parking close by at a reasonable price. Very good breakfast.
