Mostly the path towards the castle is only for cars, but you still can walk your way to it.

It feels like making your childhood dream come true. Staying in a beautiful castle, with a beautiful gardens and nature outside, absolutely excellent authentic experience, almost like suddenly being in a fantasy book for several days. Highly recommend!

The balcony isn’t really one, just a space to step out onto. The room service trays are beautiful but there is no table to set them on- bit akward…

Limited dinner options. The chef's creations were not a "WOW". Menu not organized. Would have liked to try other signature dishes than those offered.

Everything exceeded expectations. Fairytale setting. Dining service was exceptional - breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was outstanding.

In such a grand house one would appreciate one more area for guests. The great library room facing the garden was obviously used as storage after a big dinner. This was really a pity as it left only the front fireplace room as a common room.

We had a nice lunch with white wine, frankfurters with potato salad in the living room at the enormous fireplace. All good and very attentive service. We booked the cheapest rooms and got two very different ones. One more modest to the back in the attic with a small window and one partly to the garden with a grand window. Great breakfast buffet, but somewhat bland scrambled eggs. Staff very helpful and friendly - like in a private Club.

It’s better to reach by car. The bus stop is 800m away and it’s walking not always at a sidewalk. For me it was gibt though.

Historically deep and magic. Big park area, great view, for me it was pure relaxation for a one night stay over including the experience of the surroundings. Big recommendation.

Wonderful chateau. Splendid surroundings. Excellent service with much appreciated upgrade to balcony room. Afternoon tea was delightful with fine selection of teas and nibbles. Fact filled tour of the residence.

It is difficult to say the same thing about the staff who contacted us before our stay because I cannot say that they were very polite, they expected an immediate response from us regarding the dinner menu, but when we responded a little late, they said that they were full and we could not eat. Then, after some insistence, he said a table was available and reserved it. It made us a little stressed before the holiday.

We stayed during the Christmas holiday. The Christmas dinner was delicious on both evenings, but I cannot say the same for the wine selection. Since the weather was bad, there wasn't much to do outside, and we had a bit of a hard time during the day because it was difficult to find a place in front of the fireplace, but overall it had a charming atmosphere. The staff we met face-to-face at the hotel was very respectful and helpful.

Would be nice if they had a pool or spa. Also, there are many rooms open to corporate events only and it’d be better if they were open for guests. Also, we could access the back deck directly and had to walk the entire way around hotel to get there.

Breakfast was amazing. This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in and it was fabulous.

All staff are very nice and helpful except for one lady who is not very happy when I try to make some drink myself at breakfast. It should prepared by them and brought to the table. But all in all not a big deal and does not shadow the overall stay here in the hotel.

The inside decoration is very impressive, especially the dining room for breakfast. Also the surrounding area is perfect for a small walk, but maybe can enjoy more of it were summertime.

Historical ambience prepared in the original manner, it’s a unique experience that you never will find in Europe, because history can’t be repeated. The park around is magical with hundreds of years old trees, a highlight for every nature lover. It’s not to stay, it’s to enjoy. Perfect stay with kings and queens.

May be the Victoria Resturant should be open more often for meals
