I was with the car and arriving on a Friday night, means that most parkings in the area were full. But that is not the hotel's fault.

Historic hotel in a great area. Clean room and good beds. Given the historic building, not very spacious, but to sleep next to the little stream with view on the historic city is wonderful

Breakfast was average but we were late coming down.

Lots of character. Beams but contemporary high end design. Windows overlooked the river and a cracking pub adjoining. While we arrived after 6pm when the reception desk closed they still stayed on to welcome us which was excellent service.

Perfect location, comfortable. Kitchen is fully equipped. The place is nicely furnished , clean, and quiet. The Maisonette is located on the top floor of a different building.

We have nothing to complain about , everything was great.

Our room was very clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious ! The staff was helpful and very friendly. Our Minibar was well stocked also. The location was the best you could have , we parked the car in a nearby parking garage and didn’t need it till we left. Everything was well within walking distance.

I was not satisfied with the breakfast, there was not much choice. There were no pastries or omelettes, just ham and cheese, for that price I would have expected more.

Only minor things: - The rooms was quite light at night due to the emergency exit light, also in the summer the window blinds are not closing out all the light - I would have liked a croissant or some sweet pastry for breakfast

- Location, in the most beautiful area of Ulm - The building and rooms have a classic yet comfortable vibe - The suite has an amazing bathroom with a huge bath - Breakfast room is very spatious

WiFi was very spotty, and the water pressure in the shower was low.

Our apartment was very modern and well appointed, in an adorable neighborhood within easy walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

There was nothing that I did not like. Maybe a teapot could have been provided in the accommodation so we could have made tea by the pot, rather than cup by cup. Just a suggestion.

Perfect stay so nothing to report!

Honestly, there wasn’t a detail they didn’t think of and everything was done to perfection! Bravo 🎉 ! Other hotels should take their course on how to treat their guests based on this model. Always a smile from the team and each breakfast was met with pure class! Eggs made to our tastes and quality ingredients overall. The room was clean and tastefully designed.

The apartment is in a separate building from the Schmales Haus. I was hoping to stay in a unique place. However, the short walk to the apartment was spectacular. I would say we broke even on that part.

Hotel Schmales Haus far exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect -- inside the city, but not too loud or crowded. The apartment was beautifully equipped. Great for an extended stay with high quality kitchen appliances and speedy internet.

Very nicely furnished and with modern amenities for an old house like this. The bathrooms were stillish and new, the kitchen was fully equipped with cookware, cutlery, an oven, a coffee machine etc. Makes for a comfortable stay. However, I would rather have had the whole experience of an old and historical building. Just my opinion :). Note: we stayed in the 3-4 person top floor apartment in a separate building, not the Schmales Haus. The view is still great with one side overlooking the famous Schiefes Haus and the small river.

Breakfast was fabulous. Staff are always friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful and the room had a fabulous view and unique setting.
