The WiFi was quite slow. The bells on the church next door rang quite loudly at about 0615. You have to park a few blocks away and walk up a cobblestone street with your luggage. Honestly to me these were all a small price to pay for staying in a cool old building!

Enjoyed my stay in this historic building on the pedestrian square of charming Miltenberg. Depending on which room you have you need to watch your head on the beams! The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent.

Right in the center of the town Parking was easy Quiet at night Breakfast was great! Fresh eggs cooked for you! Staff were very kind and helpful!

There was nothing that we didn’t like about this hotel! As I mentioned earlier, we struggled for a while to find it (even when we were standing right in front of it!) because their signage isn’t clear. It was totally worth the effort though!

I would highly recommend this hotel! The staff is kind and accommodating, and our room was very comfortable and spacious. The hotel is in a historic building in the main town square. It’s the perfect location for being able to walk to everything. The city museum and the castle are both a short walk from the hotel. The breakfast was great, and offered a nice array of choices. You will probably struggle for a while to find the hotel when you first arrive because the signage isn’t good, but it will all be worth it! I highly recommend visiting the village of Miltenberg, and I highly recommend staying in this hotel. My dad and I loved it, and we wish we had stayed a third night. Miltenberg was our first stop after picking up the rental car at the Frankfurt airport, and it was a great way to start our first trip to Germany!

Some stairs to reach it and a few inside to room as well but I managed even at age 80.

Exactly what we had hoped for when visiting a small German village. Hot breakfast prepared by owner/chef. Dinner menu limited but meals we choose prepared with perfection. Owners and staff welcoming and helpful. Hope to return on another visit. Town is quintessential German small village.

Wonderful 500 year old building with traditional furnishings and an incredible breakfast room. Friendly staff. Conveniently situated in the main town square close to all attractions. Breakfast basic but tasty. Room was cosy.

Parking is difficult, closest available was about 600m away. We were also charged for breakfast despite advising the hotel we would be checking out before it started.

Fantastic historic hotel! Located right in the centre of Miltenberg, everything is within walking distance. The rooms are big, beds are comfy and the views are beautiful! Staff are very friendly too.

Some cleanliness issues, particularly with my blanket but it wasn't enough to make me ask for another. Although breakfast was great I was surprised it wasn't a buffet as advertised. The staff handed me a menu and I could choose what I wanted. This was perfectly fine, just not expected. The only thing I didn't like the most was no dessert option. I was so sad, but even some of the other restaurants near by didn't have a very good dessert menu...

The location and views are perfect. I highly enjoyed the traditional interior. The breakfast tasted great as well as the dinner.

We couldn't get on the hotel's wifi

The hotel is located in rhe centre of medieval town and dates from that period. We decided to eat in for dinner and we very pleased that we did so. The food was very good and fairly-priced.

Nothing - perhaps a long walk with cases from the parking outside the city perimeter but that wasn’t the hotels problem but be warned.

Enjoyed it being in the heart of the old town, in a very commanding position. Very convenient for exploring the town.. Lovely bedroom with a covered balcony.

An ideal hotel...easy parking right in front

The bed was not the best. There is cracking noise form the floor and the stairs, because hotel is built on a wood structure. Overall it is a very basic hotel.

The hotel is in the center of the city. Staff was very nice and helpful. Room was clean and breakfast was simple, but good.

Thankfully in a 15th century village, this is the most appropriate of stays - authentic and totally consistent with the village atmosphere.
