There may have been an error with the booking system. We had booked in February. On arrival (21 April) we were told that a normal room was not available and we were put into an appartment, which sounded good, but this was clearly not normally in use for bookings. The room was clean and there was a good bed, but only a clothes rail, held together by sellotape. The bathroom window had no curtains and was clear glass, and two houses on the hill behind. The staff sellotaped some opaque plastic up when I pointed this out, then stuck some to the window the next day. The bath was old with enamel worn off, although other bathroom fittings were clean and OK, but there were cobwebs at the window and behind the door. I just had the impression something had gone wrong with the booking system and they had had to use part of the building which was not in use, and which needs refurbishing - including electric sockets (the plastic surround of one is broken and probably not safe). Lights in seating area were dim.

when it has no food or drinks, I think it is a good thing to provide the room with a Kittel and small fridge

There was no soap in the toilet which is in my opinion a basic necessity. And the Internet speed was relatively slow.

Very good location near the Rhine falls, with many restaurants and shops in the surrounding. Interaction with the staff online was extremely smooth.

We turned up at hotel on our motorcycles the owner opened up his own grand let us park our bikes , large property loads of room would use again

It was not a hotel, only a room with toilet and WC behind a curtain. Personel left after they charged me 10 euro cash for the pet. No credit card accepted. The town is totally dead on Sunday, only some expensive restaurants were open. The place (room in 2nd floor, very steep stairs and the town) very difficult to reach.

Bathroom across the corridor! Very old building, low ceilings. Everything is very old, however the cleanliness was fine. Beds are not comfortable. Wi-Fi was very weak. There is no blow dryer.

Location is good, near to the Rheinfall. Little refrigerator in the room. TV has an HDMI port.

owner responded very late no one was present to open the property for us, we stayed approximately 45 min waiting for some one to appear on site, they never came but instructed us how to take the key from a box attached to building. on descriptions it says is a hotel but is not, when we arrived building was completely closed no one there no instruction on door, I called the numbers listed but no one answered for 45 min, so we starting looking for another place but we do not find anything available in the area, after 45 min we get inside but everyone was disappointed about appearance of the rooms, bath light in room 10 not working the socket just hanging in wires, no switch, bulb no working, missing caulking and mildew on shower and walls are cracks on corners, in room 12 shower curtain fall on the middle of the night scarring us as crazy, we put it back and after half hour when we fall on sleep fall again.Bad experience, why booking working with this outdated property we not understand, looks like we was fooled but was no chance for us to find something else in the area , everything was over our budged and we was forced to sleep there but really was not a sleep that night, I do not want to go there again , we fill very frustrated all 4 people.

room 3x3 included bathroom in the 3x3. exactly as a jail and just as cold, the heating turned off all night and turned back on for a while in the morning?¿ a small window in the roof poorly covered with a cloth blind ensured that it was not dark to sleep, as did the snoring of the person in the next room.

It was dirty and cold. The radiator was broken and it seems that the staff know about it before. And they acted like they did not know about it.
