The Negatives: - The staff was very cold, rude, and lacked English proficiency—quite disappointing. - Access to areas other than your room requires your room key; if a family member is not present, ringing the bell results in unpleasant remarks from the staff. - Access to the hotel is not clearly explained; temporary parking options are not well-documented. - Rooms for three are relatively small. - Lack of amenities in the room, such as a coffee machine or water. - They do not provide a list of recommended places to visit, shops, or restaurants. In summary, while the hotel's location and certain features were commendable, the overall experience was marred by unfriendly staff, unclear instructions, and a lack of essential amenities in the rooms. Nevertheless, the excellent value for money does add a positive aspect to the stay.

On our journey back home to France, our stay in Vienna left me with mixed feelings, yet the value for money proved to be excellent. The Positives: - The location on the highland is amazing, offering stunning views. - Very close to the city center with a plethora of bars, restaurants, and shops. - Affordable paid parking is available. - The charm of being a family-owned hotel adds a unique touch. - The breakfast was a positive highlight—delicious and diverse, with excellent coffee.

Bigger towels, the milk for breakfast was sour. Staff not very helpful.

Check-in was not smooth. I arrived at about 15:30 and no one answered the bell. Called telephone number that was on the door but still couldn’t get anyone to let me in. Only needed to wait for 5-10minutes until finally someone answered, but it wasn’t easy to wait with anxiety. My anxiety was increased because I didn’t get the answer to my enquiry prior to booking date. Maybe it was because I send the message in English but I didn’t mind to get the answer in German. Unfortunately I don’t understand German but there is a translation app!

Friendly and helpful staff - assuming you speak German. Large rooms. Generous breakfast. Good location - quiet at night but close enough on foot to everywhere including a lovely playground.

The best of this place its the location. Close to the train and boat stations. Good price for what is offered. And they have breakfast included.

we were supposed to have free parking but we had to park in park house (5min walk) was not that bad but we had to pay, also we had to pay for our dog (for cleaning even though she didnt) but the prices were not unreasonable so that was ok :) We were supposed to have king sized bad but we had two separate small ones and the room was really small - preferably for short stays.

It was clean, we had sampoo and soup clean towels. We could chaged the temperature the view was nice and also the TV. We came after the check in time, we had problem and the staff didn’t had problem to come and solve it on the premises.

Great stay at Hotel Seerose. The hotel is well situated with very good prices 👌 The room and toilets were clean and perfect for 2 nights stay. Staff was helpful, and the breakfast was also good 👍 Dog friendly hotel, We stayed 2 nights with our dog (yorkie) :)

Easy access to Lindau old town. Very good covered, secure parking in the public car park just over the road and only €10.30 for overnight Our parking was from 17.00 until 08.45.

The towels were scratchy. The staff were very pleasant on arrival but as we would come and go I would hear the male employee yell at another employee often. Never directed towards us but can make you feel uncomfortable.

Classic breakfast of deli meat, bread and eggs. My kids loved it. No issues. Room was clean, as was the hotel in general. Location was great, walking distance to everything on the island and plenty of food options nearby.

Good location - just around the corner from the main street and Bodensee. Friendly hosts. Parking just outside (parking house). Bus stop opposite the hotel and 10 min walk to the train station. Very good breakfast!
