The area of the hotel a little shabby but transport connections are 5 minutes away.

The hotel and staff were great for the price. Location not the best but easy transport everywhere in city. Breakfast fresh, price fair. I would stay there again.

The owners are amazingly friendly people, helped with all information about the town and travel. Didn't really meet such people on travel usually. Recommendation. Location is ideal, Underground is 2 mins away, same as old town are.

Excellent small hotel! Very clean guestroom, super good service and you can leave your car in garage. 100 m and you are in historical Old Town.

Everything!! The staff were very friendly and spoke good English. They let us check in a little earlier than listed.parking was great. We had a private garage that locked so we could leave things in our vehicle. very quiet. The room was very cheerful. We had a large room for two with a large bathroom, which made us smile every time we entered. Breakfest was good, nice large breakfest area. check in and out was simple.We will stay here again whenever we visit the area.

There was no microwave, but there was a small fridge.

The breakfast was a nice spread, but the most notable is that the breakfast room has an area for kids to play!! It was the most hot coffee I have been able to drink in years! I also really liked the second bedroom having twin beds. My kids sleep better in separate beds.

Nothing to not like.

Everything was wonder from when we arrived early and our room was ready and the staff were outstanding. The room was spotless and large. One of the best places we have stayed at. Breakfast had a big selection and very good. We were about 25 minutes walking to the main Christmas markets.

First glance was a little worrisome, down a small alley but no problem as soon as we entered the hotel.

Huge colorful rooms. Definitely brought a smile to our faces! Easy access to the old city and all amenities.

The first room we stayed in it was easy to bump the shower handle so I got a burst of hot water so be careful :-)

Stefanie and her husband were amazing hosts! EXTREMELY friendly and made a late night check in easy. We loved the location, and add the bonus of parking and breakfast!! An absolute must stay :-)

very minor really; there wasn’t tea and cover in the room (although they may have provided if we asked), it was a little tricky to find the reception when we arrived early afternoon.

quiet (apart from our children), dark in room that was good for sleeping, close to public transport, room spacious and good for family of 4, nice breakfast.

Super friendly owners, fantastic location just outside of the old city very close to one of the transportation hot spot. We arrived late but had no issue to be checked in and welcomed. Huge room with all necessary stuff inside. We got a lot of useful insights about the city and sightseeing so our visit was even better. Thank you a lot!

Really nice place that is situated close to the city walls, ideal for exploring the centre on foot. There is parking on site too. This was very helpful for us as we were on a road trip. The hotel is in an older building with a lovely old staircase leading up to the rooms. Very atmospheric. The room was joyfully decorated and made me smile.....of course. A large room that was clean and comfortable with a desk, chairs, tv, minibar fridge stocked with a selection of local beer and soft drinks and water. And a double bed that was comfortable. Also an en-suite bathroom with a large walk in shower. The buffet breakfast was good too. The owners were really nice and worked very hard looking after their guests. The lady even came out to our car on departure day to wave us off. There is so much to see in the city that three days was not enough. We need to return and I know where we will stay. That makes me Smile.

The neighborhood isn't particularly charming and construction made exiting a GPS nightmare.

Most modestly price accommodations lack personality, but the Smile Hotel lives up to its name. The innkeeper and her husband have established a quirky, fun and absolutely unique vibe. My room was the most spacious I enjoyed in Bavaria and immaculately cleaned. Free parking made exploring the old town on foot (the entrance is directly across the street) hassle-free. The child in anyone will be delighted with a stay.

The pillows are way too soft and collapse under the head's weight.

Everything was satisfactory: location with walking distance to the Old City / City Center; access to all city transports, uncluding the subway` cleanliness; everything worked perfectly in the room, nothing missing and above all, the person in charge explained patiently how to effectively explore the City Center.

A pleasant, family hotel located close to the old center of Nuremberg. Extremely nice and friendly staff. Quiet and comfortable room with a separate entrance. Good breakfast. Separate garage in the yard next to the hotel.
