How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).

The fridges are empty so if you arrive late you must go downstairs to buy water. And you must have loose cash because the machine doesn't have card payment option
Nice location and walking distance to Bahn hof and the Stadt. FREE PARKING! Big, clean and warm rooms maybe a little too warm. Small but new looking reception and restaurant areas. Friendly receptionists and staff.

Was only missing some drinks in the minibar and some nice amenity kit(body cream, nice soaps, shampoo etc) there were some small bottles of bodywash/shampoo but very basic)
Staff was very friendly. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast and coffee was nice. Free parking behind the hotel. Only 10 minutes walk from the old town.

A better briefing on times when reception was open and when we would need to use the rear entrance to enter.
The atmosphere in the hotel was informal and I quite liked this approach. However it is professionally run and a good hotel.

Nice hotel at walking distance from the beautiful city centre of Coburg. Although located opposite the train station, we were not bothered by noise.

Only one coffee machine at breakfast which for the size of hotel was very poor. You could wait 20 mins just to get a morning coffee. Rooms are warm as there is no aircon
Free parking is always a bonus and it was in a good location. Out of town but easy to walk there. Breakfast was good with different options. Staff were friendly. Exceptionally good instructions and guidance provided for fire evacuations

The worst thing is to be without a front desk on the weekends from 4pm onwards. Front desk is what differentiates a hotel from other type of accommodations.
Rooms are great and breakfast, too. The Staff is great.

From the street it is 8 stairs to entrance and 10 stairs from parking lot. Made it difficult with luggage as we are both disabled. Breakfast basic.
Nice boutique hotel, restaurant was excellent. Room was great. On site parking. Staff helpful

Shower equipment (shower bath and shampoo single doses) are very limited, definitely not enough for 2 times showering per day. They should offer either larger volumes of single dose or a shower gel dispenser.
The hotel is run on a very professional base, staff is friendly and especially the breakfast facility and food was offered in an exceptional clean and hygienic way.

There was not enough shampoo/body wash. But we usually bring backups just in case.
The room was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The linens were very soft and we both slept well. The staff was very friendly and we were even able to check in early. There was ample free parking so it made it easy on arrival and departure.

Ringhotel Stadt Coburg has easy access from/ to train station, in a walking distance to the city center. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped including a quiet fridge. Staff is very kind and helpful.

There were elevators inside the hotel, but we had to carry our suitcases up the outside stairs into the building. It was a 10 minute walk to the old town area.
The hotel is charming and we were given room #105, a suite with a sunroom. So nice! The bathroom was large as well. Breakfast was good and the receptionist was very helpful. Parking was in an outside lot next to the building.

The internet was a bit slow.
The hotel is located right next to the train station, which was very convenient for me. As mentioned in other reviews, when the windows are closed, you don't hear the noise of the trains. The room is exactly as shown in the photographs, very clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff is extremely nice and friendly. I would happily stay here again.

My husband, 2 year old daughter and I had a very enjoyable 2 night stay. The room was big enough for all 3 of us and we appreciated that the hotel already had a nice travel crib set up for my daughter when we arrived. We also appreciated that the room had a mini-fridge! The breakfast was fantastic…good selection of breads/pastries, yogurt, cheese, meats and more and the coffee selection was also great. The staff members were all very thoughtful. On our first morning, one of the staff asked if my daughter wanted chocolate milk and brought it to our table. The next morning, she remembered and brought it again as soon as we sat down. Overall, it was a very comfortable, quiet, relaxing stay and we would stay here again
