Check-in after 21:00 is a little bit problematic, especially if you are not aware that there is no one at the reception after this hour and you have to get your key from a special locker. My advice to the hotel would be to put it clear somewhere in an offer and send the pick-up details in advance to make the process easier.

Great hotel! I have been there three times already, and every time everything was perfect. The staff is very nice and rooms cosy, quiet and clean. What I like the most about the hotel is absolutely amazing breakfast and the fact, that next to the reception there is 24/7 coffee maschine and you can make yourself e.g. a tee very late in the evening or a takeaway coffee in the morning.

Ability to get room key after midnight was good and secure. Room had individual heating and a good shower. Breakfast was great with lots of choice.

literally the only downside were the pillows which were very soft and not comfortable to sleep on. will bring my own pillow during my next visit.

Breakfast like in a 5-star hotel! very spacious and quiet wellness area with sauna, free fitness and possibility to book wellness treatments like massages at very reasonable prices. nice modern rooms, very coffee and tea in the lobby and very friendly service. located at a quiet place just outside the city center of Borken. spacious free parking outside the hotel. will definitely return!

Bathroom was a bit too narrow. Sink and closet too close to each other, hard to fit in for big people.

Very close the marktplatz, clean. Like the fact that there is a coffee machine downstairs accesible 24/7 so you can drink good coffee whenever you can.

Guests should be informed about new Covid regulations. Had to do a test for sauna use, which was a bit annoying.

Breakfast was varied and plenty. Location was very close to the city center and nice places to eat. Excellent place to wander and/or cycle around. Very quiet by the way. Good facility to store bikes

The hotel does not have an onsite restaurant for evening meals. There are restaurants close by but if you arrive late to the hotel keep this in mind, you will need to walk into town to find food.

The staff were very helpful and polite. The hotel is well located for local restaurants and well connected to the main roads.

The AEG air conditioning unit was quite noisy, so I might recommend earbuds for light sleepers who prefer a cool room.

Staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean, the location was perfect for our needs. The breakfast selection was spectacular, and there were many little touches that made us feel especially welcome, such as access to a coffee machine and selection of tees at all hours. I also genuinely appreciate the vegan food options at breakfast.
