How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

No staff, fully self-check-in/out, nobody to ask questions. No luggage facilities, although the staff at the sister Aspire hotel down the road were kind enough to allow use of their luggage room since we'd stayed there prior. No elevator. Relatively small room for price.
Quite clean, no issues with room or bathroom. Coffee machine and pods provided. Sanitary accessories in bathroom. Location was mid-way between main station and city centre.

The counter and the application does not work well. It disn’t gibe access code directly. I spent quite some time to solve the issue with hotel support by phone

It's expensive for a barebones hotel. The serve a decent continental breakfast, but it's an extra €10 each. They do not clean the rooms or the bathrooms during your stay.
Centrally located. Staff were pleasant and helpful. They gave us fresh towels everyday. The beds were firm and comfortable.

doesn't give the vibe of a typical hotel, since there is no reception and not many facilities. nonetheless, it covers the basics, it's convenient and comfortable. room was warm but we couldnt figure out how to turn on the heating on our own despite the instructions, which was fine since the weather was warm. also, didn't notice any elevators at sight which was a bit of a burden for luggage, but not a problem!
had a good stay! staff is very friendly. the room is cleaned everyday and the towels changed on a daily basis, which was very appreciated. the room was quiet and the view cute! the room was bit enough to host us and have enough space to organise ur things and feel at ease!

I asked a question per text but no one answered. At the same time the hotel sends huge messages about check in multiple times, which is confusing
Easy to check in with the machine on the door. Clean and just 5 min from the train station. No personnel available, everything is made online which is an advantage for me. Dogs are allowed. There's a coffee maker and coffee in the room

No curtains in front of the two roof windows. And also one of the mattrasses had a (blood) stain.
Nice cosy hotel in the middle of Reutlingen. For the most part (especially the bathroom) it was quite clean, if the mattress would not have a stain I would rate it quite high. Also it had the nice possibility to check-in late (and pay) via an outdoor machine.

Noone at hotel when we arrived, place was locked and we had to wait half an hour to be let in. Stayed 4 nights, room wasn't cleaned on one occasion, beds not changed, toilet roll ran out!!!!

The reception staff couldn't deal with my booking. Check-in took a very long time. There was no one at the reception when I checked out. I had to spend a lot of time again, and because of this, I was almost late for the meeting. The single room is very small.

I have arrived to to Reutlingen on Sunday at 9.30 pm as I have stated before arriving. To my SURPRISE, I found the hotel CLOSED !! I tried ringing the bell several times as well as ringing the hotel on the phone but no one answered. What could be the reaction at that moment, me having no place to stay in the middle of the night. A total DISASTER. Moreover, the next day I went there to cancel my booking. I stood at the reception desk for about 10 minutes and kept on ringing the bell but no one came. A TOTAL DISASTER by all means.

A very nice hotel. The staff was above expectation, very friendly and allways available. The room was comfy and clean. The location is excelent, in the middle of the city, wich made every trip easier. When we visit Reutlingen the next time, certainly we'll choose it again.

The breakfast does not have sufficient variety. I would suggest adding croissants, pretzels, cakes, etc. It would be great to have a coffee machine in the room.
Great location, 5 minutes to everything (bus stop, train station, supermarkets, main street, main square, etc.) The staff members are friendly. The rooms are basic and clean.
