Need more toilets per floor, the two in our floor were not working😞. I went to bahnhof as it was nearby. No particular reception or staff overnight.

Key cards were temperamental - sometimes it would take 4 tries to open your door, other times it would open first go. No locker for your things, just cubby holes.

Truly great location, massive 6 share room (didn’t have bunk beds in it), cool beer garden with pool (though pool wasn’t working when I was there in April), quaint lift

There are lockers but they are not inside the room. The bathrooms are not very clean and there is no place where to pit your thighs.

The rooms have single beds and not bunk beds. There are lights and sockets mear every bed and you also have a bit of storage near it. The train station and the center is just 5 minutes from the hostel

There are locker cabinets in the corridors, but it would be better if there are locker cabinets in the rooms where we can put our belongings for easy access. Just an advise. :)

It was centrally located. There are many restaurants and markets nearby. The beds were comfortable. It's nice to have an elevator in the building. I didn't have any problems in terms of security.

The lobby and reception are small

The place was well accessible. The hotel facilities were considered for the comfort and better use of passengers. Each one has a shelf and a lamp, single beds and separate clothes hangers

Make sure to bring earplugs since the walls to the other rooms are super thin, and at least in my case, the neighbors were still super loud very late at night.

Be aware that sound proof is not so good, when someone answer the phone in the corridor, you could hear it clearly inside the room. The door design makes it inevitably to make noise when you open and close the door.

Good location, very close to train station Spacious room for 5 beds (and not bunk bed), got a small lamp for each bed, socket, and hooks for clothing, detailed mind. Got a luggage room (with individual lock) to store the luggage before check in Got key card for the room you stay

There is no possibility to heat up or cook food.

The spacious rooms with single beds were nice. Relatively quiet guests during my stay. The central location is great for exploring the city.

The corridors are quite dimly lit (more down to preference)

- Room was large and spacious, with no bunk beds - Bathrooms are generally clean and not too cramped, with ample space to hang clothes and towels - Reception staff were friendly and knowledgeable - Sheets are free, towel rental is rather inexpensive at €1 - Close to Köln Hbf, and very conveniently located compared to other hostels of similar price range

The shower head did not attach properly in my en suite bathroom so I had to use the shared shower to wash my hair. The shared shower drain was not ok, so the floor became flooded. Quit a lot of noice from doors banging at night. Too high pillow. Breakfast was quite basic.

Friendly staff. Great location close to railway station, museums, Hohenzoller bridge and lots of shops in old town. Friendly bar and restaurant with good food. Very practical with lots of hooks to hang things on in the bedroom.

I had a negative incident during my stay. The roommate happened to be an extreemist islamist. He prayed very loudly during the night in the room, while shouting aggresively, and standing just directly over my bed. Not sure what protective measures you could take to prevent such behaviour but that was one of the few moments that I felt very unsafe. I also just didn’t enjoy the city, as I found it nationality-based racist, but that’s no fault of the hostel.
