Very friendly 24/7 reception staff. Friendly cleaners who all wished me a very good morning upon noticing me. Clean room comfy beds and a perfect price quality ratio.

A cosy little hotel on the outskirts of Dortmund. . Very friendly personnel. Good value. Excellent breakfast. Even the smallest room had a balcony.

Coffee machine inside room without Capsules you must ask staff on reception to get some and i don’t ask staff as that’s not nice to go out late and ask them anyway just I found that not good 👍 hope you put some inside room 🙋‍♂️

The room was dark. When you turned on every single light - still dark. Dark enough you cannot read unless you sit directly by a lamp. They changed my room. It was brighter - but still dark. Another annoyance was a very small bathroom. When I tried to leave the door open to get a bit more light, there was a strong spring forcing the bathroom door closed again. I needed to move a chair to hold the bathroom door open in order to have a bit of elbow room. Another annoyance: There is a coffee machine in the room, but - you need to either bring your own coffee or pay 1.50€ for a Nespresso capsule which involves going back to reception.

The staff was friendly and nice. I paid extra for an upgraded room. The room was a nice size with a small balcony and a sitting area. It was clean. There is limited parking but street parking is free and allowed.

there are only 2 points of view: 1. I didn't like the fact that from the requirements (although I talked about paying extra without any problem) the wine and chocolate were missing. 2.The fact that we paid twice to stay in the room longer than the time we were supposed to leave. But that's really not the problem. Next time a little more attention and everything will be perfect. But 100% we will come again with pleasure😊

The rooms are exactly as they look in the pictures on the website. Was clean, comfortable, warm, quiet, and so on. 90% I am glad that the requirements were met. Was really nice😊

The room smelt of smoke- the balcony had an ashtray and people must have smoked with the door open. One of the towels was frayed around the edges and had a couple of holes. The hotel has a very small car park and I had to drive around the area to find parking space on the street. There was quite a lot of noise in the corridor- I didn’t mind but others might.

Staff were very friendly and helpful; the shower had lovely non slip tiling; there was a lift to upper floors

We booked with four persons and the sleeping sofa was already prepared when we entered the room. Checkin went very smoothly. Although the parking place was full there was sufficient parking space next to the road of the Hotel.

It's been my second time at staysdesign dortmund. In September I managed to get a firstfloor spaceous room which was simply amazing at a wonderful rate. This last stay in November I decided to book almost last-minute and tried the smaller 5th floor room (Sgl). Here I found little space (three hang-ups on the wall and some open shelves to stuff my carry-on luggage). On day 2 (a Sat or Sunday morning) when leaving the room, the button to call the lift on the top (5th) floor wasn't reacting. When I reported the issue to the receptionist, it was shortly fixed. Really stunning. Before travelling to Dortmund, make sure to check the soccer calendar as prices during important games may almost tripple during those nights. The shower was not very powerful. I was on a visit for a football match and then room rate had been raised due to demand

At the entrance area, there was a noticeable stain of smoke in the room. Later the smell of the toilet overlapped that. All rooms must be paid upfront. I do not like that.

The room was small, but for a short stay it is excellent.

We stayed there for one night only. The hotel is located in a peaceful residential area. The U-Bahn station is 5 mins away, with direct connection to the city center. The room and bedlinen were clean, the bed was very comfortable.
