Too expensive, no restaurant, bad room service

The entrance to the Hotel was difficult to navigate by car. The parking was expensive and was really the only option in the area.

The location was great, very central, easy walk to all the sightseeing areas we wanted to visit. The hotel staff were all very helpful and spoke very good English which was a bonus for us. Our room had a view of a courtyard to the rear of the hotel, it was very quiet with no road noise.

Very nice hotel in the city centre, room was clear and quite big. Location allows to reach most popular sights even by feet.

The air conditioner in the room did not work, and it was advised if the window was open it wouldn't work, we made sure the windows were shut and it still did not work :( We often slept with the windows open and blankets on the floor. Parking isn't on the property and not always available. There was a lot of noise and noisy guests too, but I'll chalk it up to being a weekend and that I'm assuming Steigenberger is a popular hotel.

The room was okay, nothing to really complain about but nothing to rave about either. Staff was cordial and did their job.

On arrival the check in receptionist was chewing gum while attending to us. She kinda rush us to provide our credit card while we were filling the check in form. The first impression when we check in was off putting.

Good location, clean spacious, comfortable room and comfy bed. Concierge staff is very helpful and attentive. He gave us a few restaurants recommendations and showed us directions too.

There is no bar or cafe, so nowhere to hang out or have a drink, which is a shame.

Amazing location - super central yet quiet. Key sights are an easy walk away. Hotel rooms are simply decorated but high quality and luxurious. Breakfast was outstanding.

The television didn’t work in one of the rooms which couldn’t be fixed and in the other room we couldn’t watch RTL which is the only channel we wanted to watch.

We received joint rooms with a door between we could keep open.

the hotel is definitely not romantic, the "after hours bar" is terrible, it's not even a room, rather a place under the stairs.

The restaurant was closed in the evening on my first night without explanation. Hotel generally lacked atmosphere /no hotel bar (at least that I found).

The location is ideal to visit the city. Main spots are within walking distance. Amazing restaurants and cafes in the area as well. The hotel is really comfortable and the breakfast excellent !

Toilet flushing in the bathroom did not work well. Water kept running. Mug handle was broken. Lighting is awkward and needs to be adjusted from a panel.

Excellent location, very comfortable, quiet hotel, very good breakfast, amazing choices, something for everyone & very good coffee! We dined one night in the restaurant, the food was superb but the service a shambles! We have to assume it was an aberration!

Excellent location in walking distance to many sights. We had two twin rooms as a family which turned out to big quite practical. The rooms were fairly big. Breakfast was good with plenty of options but fairly expensive. Amenities otherwise are fairly limited.
