- Very expensive car park which is completely unsuited to anything larger than a Smart car. - Drain plug in the bath has obviously not been cleared for a long time because the water and soap scum built up under your feet when showering, which was unpleasant. - Key cards seemed to work only intermittently which was hugely frustrating.

- Good location, very central, very friendly and helpful bar staff, comfortable beds. - Very clean, nice facilities, plenty of space in our room.

Some rooms have air conditioning and some do not. Unfortunately the air con rooms were being maintained and unavailable during my stay and I found the bedroom way to hot, even in March and with the windows open. I was moved from floor 6 to floor 2 and it was more comfortable, but I would recommend paying extra for the air conditioned rooms.

The staff are very good at this hotel, friendly and helpful. The food is very nice, with a lot of choice at breakfast. Everything was clean and well cared for. The beds are very comfortable. The free WIFI is good. The location is good with a nice view and near to many lovely restaurants along the sea front.

Breakfast is rich but coffee is very bad, without any taste, I tried several types but none of them was good. Had to take a coffee later at another place, even the coffee at standard university cafés was better. At this price level, the most important part of breakfast should be of a much better quality.

Entrance to parking is a bit narrow for a large SUV.

Convenient near to cruise terminal but also near academic hospital. Friendly to all of us and welcoming to our dog. Nice bar staff. Great breakfast.

The room seemed dark and we missed having a desk to work at. The small round table had to suffice, but was not a great compromise.

We chose this hotel due to the location and weren’t disappointed. It’s close to the center, but not in the midst of chaos. Our stay was nice, but nothing spectacular. The room was quiet, but was smaller than expected and seemed dark.
