Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomRooms are a little tired and could with a freshen up. No coffee making facilities in the room as they offer a free machine in the reception. This is fine, but it isn't topped up regularly and wasn't always working.
Good location close to the station. . All staff were excellent (friendly and helpful) throughout.

ItalyThey should rethink their check out policy. Though I paid in full upon my arrival (with no other incidentals), I had to wait in line to give them my key to check me out.
Room met my expectations. Small but comfortable bed for one... that's what I asked for, that's what I got. I did not eat the breakfast, but was very pleased that there was coffee in the lobby for the guests.

Bar staff was good and bar atmosphere was fine. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice and plenty staff to assist. Hotel was fine but shower in bv sta is not fine for 60+ guests. Plus bathroom is smaller b/c of the bath. I actually ask if the hotel knows of guests really use a bath nowadays!! And the toilet is really oldfashioned lie, much to liw to take a seat without difficulty. Staff everywhere in hotel was nice plus they speak english. Unfortunately no Dutch tv channels, and that is weird anno 20th Century.
