How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The price of breakfast was too high for standard and there should be a free refill of coffee capsules and water since you also have to pay for rooms cleaning
Everything was up to it standards: great staff, clean rooms, Comfortable beds, great location and view and a reasonable price for a 5-star hotel

The living room is crowded with too heavy furniture, the coffee machine is not comfortable to use, the shower door probably needs to be fixed so that it opens outwards (if it opens inwards, you have to squeeze between the door and the wall to reach the tap), it was not possible to switch off the background lights in the lobby without removing the card and switching off all the electricity in the room (at least we didn't find another way).
Great location and view, spacious bathroom with both shower and bathtube.

There was a large pole in the middle of the room, they could have mentioned it The shower had to be held to use it which is not ideal.

There isn’t anything I didn’t like.
I had an excellent stay at the hotel. The room was spotless, the bed and pillows comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. I asked for - and got - a quiet room. I’ve stayed at many hotels. Suitess is among the best. I will stay there again.

The room looked on an inner courtyard (to be fair we took a late deal so that was probably the reason).
Very central, plush hotel with jacuzzi and comfortable rooms. The staff were helpful.

Amazing breakfast with fantastic view! Nicely decorated clean rooms. Luxury hotel for pleasant stay. On weekend can be a bit loud in the streets, only one disadvantage of nice location.

When we arrived it was very busy at the check in, so this must be taken into consideration. However the reception of the guests could have been more warm in my opinion. Especially when I compare it to the several hotels we have been in the last weeks. There it was busy too! Furthermore great hotel with great services.
Location is perfect. In the middle of the heart of Dresden. Breakfast was good. Car was parked for us upon arrival and on the day of departure parked in the right direction and on the right time. Perfect service.

Too loud air conditioner so we switched it off at night.
Great location, nice staff, spaceous apartment with everything you would need. Comfortable bed. We arrived earlier than check in time and were able to check in at 13:00.

The breakfast was pretty average but very expensive. Also if you stay for several nights you must be aware that this hotel does not have a proper lobby with lobby bars and restaurants like a real 5-star hotel. Their lobby and bar is beri small and honestly I never saw a barman there. Not an issue for most people but just so you know!
The room was so spacious and comfortable. It even had 3 TVs, one in the living area, one in the bedroom and one in the bathroom! The bed smelled like flowers and helped me sleep comfortably (although I did not like it that they had put two single blankets in a king bed. That was odd). The location is perfect as its right in the middle of the old town. For the nights you spend in the room you will live like a king. Disclaimer: I did not use the gym and fitness center so I can’t comment on those.
