How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The bed sheets were not cleaned after first night. The rooms are rather small.

Requested higher floor, at the reception got a room card issued during check in then asked the card back before they handling it to me, and new room card with a floor lower.

seems that everything works properly at the moment. There was no soap in the shower. The toilet door should be more private oritented
The location at the city center was really convinient and close to many shops. You can visit all the sightseeing on foot, since they are maximum 10-15 minutes. The facilities are renovated, modern and clean

The breakfast was ok but could be better, the eggs were rubber, the cheese was wet and the fruit didn't looked that fresh. The hotel is on top of a nightclub so on a friday and saturday night you can expect noise a big part of the night.
Location is right in the middle of the centre so everything is on walking distance, the rooms are clean and modern, there is a nice city view. You have everything you need.

The hotel is conveniently located, opposite of Romanticum and has several bus stops in front of it. We had 2 double rooms that were connected but the doors between the rooms could not be fully opened due to lack of space and also they were very heavy to open. Otherwise everything was perfectly well. The rooms are clean, toiletries provided along with towels.

Very good breakfast, not mega choices but decent to very good for the price. Staff is young and friendly. Location is smack in the shopping centre of Koblenz. Clean and comfy.

The beds are too lightweight and they move. I requested adjacent rooms, and paid for big rooms via booking. But at the check-in I was informed that adjacent rooms were only the small sized bedrooms. I ended up at the small adjacent rooms but I got no refund for not staying in the big rooms. The bathroom deserves larger doors, it feels like at a youth hostel. The toilet is nearly doorless, and the shower ends up leaking to the sink area. The breakfast can get an upgrade. In the end it's ok for 2 nights.
Nice and quick check-in. Convenient location and good vale for money (the comfort is ok, with new infrastructure).

Although the hotel is brand new and they did a good job but they did not provide at least a small dressing in the room to hang the clothes. in the bathroom rather than investing in a class panel for the shower the used shower curtains . they did not provide shelves in the bathroom to put the shaving cream the tooth brush and the tooth paste etc…
