How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

A beautifully designed and super comfortable hotel in easy reach of the train station. Really comfy bed and great pillows. My room looked out onto a very busy road but the windows completely blocked the noise out. Would definitely recommend

If you need accommodation for casual stay where you dont sped so much time in room and hotel this is a perfect place for you. Location is perfect, metro station si just 2min walk from hotel, there are so many good restaurants around hotel and hotel also has very nice bar for chilling.

I really liked this hotel. Very new, very clean, it was nice to stay here. It is located right in the city center of Hamburg, close to the subway, the main train station and everything is within walking distance.

Staff was not helpful and quite unfriendly. The Hamburg marathon was held during our stay and the staff was not helpful. We had to find out quite some things in terms of parking, the event itself which complicated quite some things of our trip and reception desk was rude. Price is to high for what is offered.
Location and hotel was perfect.

The only con is that the room was a little on the small side.
The Cloud One is a new hotel. Great location to walk around Hambug. Primavera restaurant located across the street was excellent. Nice lounge in lobby area.

Staff in the front desk.
The place is really nice. It is very clean. It is efficiency hotel that everything works great. The location is good 25 minutes walk to central train station and 10 minutes to the plaza. The breakfast is but pricy but good. The staff in the front desk that I had dealing with were not pleasant. However, I liked the place and would go back.

With the road closed out the front, it was extremely hard to find. The rear address should be given on the booking details. We drive around for over half an hour trying to find the entrance.
The property was in a great location and the staff very helpful when I needed anything.

The room is really small, and was quite warm. Even with first opening the window and afterwards trying to manage down further the temperature with the aircon system, it remained warm.
The location is central and the interior design is up to date, including a nice bar.

Food and drinks very expensive and a coffee and tea station in the room will make it even better.
The room was very clean and the amnesties good. Staff very friendly and helpful. The location also close to train stations and places of interest.

The breakfast was an expensive add-on with limited options. The breakfast came in at a premium and we decided after the first day to get breakfast elsewhere.
The room was beautifully designed, functional and very clean. A fantastic location near the museums and other attractions. We really enjoyed our time at this hotel and it was at a perfect location. Although the hotel is geared more towards the German Tourist industry please don’t let it put you off trying it out. We particularly enjoyed the bar on the hotel roof but there was confusion about items on our bill which took some time to rectify however it was very nice to watch the sunset from the hotel and see the fireworks. Staff communicated with us in English during our stay.

It wasn’t special enough for the price category, it clearly should have been on 30% lower for a small room and crowded breakfast. I have stayed in many luxurious hotels with same price and different experience.
Staff was nice, relaxed and friendly athmosphere.

It might be because it happened to be the port anniversary in Hamburg, but the price was almost double of what I’d usually expect. For this price, I’d have at least expected a refrigerator and complimentary water, maybe even a coffee machine/water kettle.
A beautiful hotel at a great, central location. A great bar with a very professional bar keeper (shoutout to Leonardo!).

No water or tea / coffee facilities in room. This comes as standard even in 5 star hotels . A large still water bottle from bar is 7 euro . Far too expensive. 2 small water bottles in room would be great

The rooms are quite small. During my stay it was also sunny, with pleasant temperatures outside, but this turned out to be a problem for my room as the AC was not working (turned off) and the floor heating of the bathroom was on. This made the room a bit too hot, which could be a problem during hotter days. The breakfast is buffer but I consider it to be overprices (24€ per person). There are several cafés around the hotel that provide a more comfortable and relaxed breakfast experience with better adjusted prices.
The location is the best asset of this hotel, not only located at the city center but also with an U-bahn stop right in front. Easy to access. The staff was friendly and the check-in and check-out were fast, with no complications. Several good restaurants can be found around the hotel area.
