How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nothing - except that I would have liked to book another Friday night stay shortly after my first stay here but it looks like there is a minimum 2-night stay at the weekend. 🙁 I would love to come back again though!
I felt really comfortable here, also as a solo traveller. A great place to relax and just minutes walk from shops, restaurants, and the beach. Loved the breakfast buffet and restaurant and bar with a cosy seating area. The staff were really friendly too.

I am in love with this hotel, such an a positive experience staying in your hotel! Its located a bit away from the main road which makes the stay very cosy, on the other hand it is not more than 5 min by foot to the central street and city center. Zimmer is so lovely and new set up, betts are amazing. No nose in the room from the central air conditioner / air ventilation, just perfectly quiet. We liked the bathroom greatly, so romantic and good planned as the room had a separate shower area in addition to the bath.

We didn't have any shampoo/conditioner in our room. There was some soapy stuff in the shower (unlabelled) so I wasn't sure if it was shampoo or not. Our shower cubicle made the bathroom floor quite soggy, but not a major issue!
Gorgeous décor, friendly staff, excellent restaurant (breakfast and dinner were exceptional!). A really good drinks/wine list. Our room was super quiet, comfy and well appointed despite being the more budget end of their rooms available. Don't miss the sauna/chill out space!!

The room, although being well designed, was rather small and lacked a desk. I also missed some water cups in the gym, so you had to bring your own bottle.
Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast and our dinner at the restaurant were extraordinarily tasty. Room was very stylish. Gym was very spacious.

Brilliant hotel, beautiful decor. We had the small room and this was fine for 2 of us. Breakfast was fantastic and we also used the sauna / relaxation facilities which were really nice. Hotel is located about 5-10 mins walk from the seafront and the main area for restaurants/cafes. We parked for free for 2 nights in the nearby ice skating centre car park.

The breakfast buffet was tasty but it could have offered just a bit more variety (for example fresh pancakes or waffles). The restaurant was ok, but I honestly expected tastier recipes considering the prices on the menu.
Exactly as its name suggests this hotel has a super cozy vibe. The design of common areas and rooms is beautiful and the staff is really friendly. We enjoyed the sauna and relax area and the well equipped gym that guest can use without paying any supplement. The position is perfect: right in the center, near the beach, the shops, the restaurants, the cure park and the forest. Dogs are more than welcome. We enjoyed our visit so much that we ended up staying one night longer.

The rooms are far from being 'sound proofed'. I could hear literally everything my neighbours were talking next door. The kids upstairs were very loud and I could hear them all the time. Everything happening on the hallway was noticeable loud and clear. Might be normal for some hotels, but I expected this differently since this hotels advertises itself with rooms being 'sound proofed'. The restaurant was nice, but could offer more vegetarian or vegan options. Overall the food was great, but quite pricy compared to what you get.
Breakfast was great, very friendly staff, nicely located. Everything was clean and in good shape.

Bed was small (140 cm) and to firm otherwise everything was really good.
