How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Breakfast and parking were a bit expensive.
Property is well located with underground parking. Breakfast was also very good. Staff is friendly and helpful!

The checkout is too early and the breakfast was not good. No short distence coffee from the hotel
room is large and comfortable, allowing a longer stay. The location is convenient, espaically when you want to run along the river. The breakfast was mediocre at best.

I will deffinetly book again here. It had a really comfortable bed and it was very spacious. I also liked that even if it was a noise in the street, when you close the windows it was nice and quite.

Pillows but I always hate the soft feather pillows
Great location. 10/15 mins walk along the beautify River walk to the Center. About 40 mins walk to train station. Everything you would need in kitchen for cooking if inclined. Nespresso machine with pods. Kettle. Tea bags. Very spacious apartment. We were very happy there for 5 days. 2 girls at reception were very friendly. Aldi right across the road where we got the most delicious pastries every morning. Cleaned every 3 days

Fantastic accommodation in the heart of Frankfurt beautiful apartment with balcony overlooking the river. Great location for the city. Staff all very friendly. Late 24 hr check in no problem. Everything you needed in the apartment. Would definitely stay again.

Individuals, actually two of them exceeded the limits of rudeness. A separate resturant which closes at 12 or 1 but also no room service or basic requirements a guest might like
Unequivocally extremely beautiful stunning view, the Italian restaurant is the closest thing to Italian food you can find in Germany, staff members where very nice, yet one old gentleman and an old lady who was present at night both are cold with zero manners.

That I couldn't spend more time there.
THE STAFF!!! The team at the Flag felt like my family. They went above and beyond everyday. My favorite part was that they were not only genuinely hospitable, but they were KIND. To offer hospitality is great, but to offer kindness is exceptional. The location was also absolutely incredible... right on the river and across from the grocery store... You really can't ask for much better from this place.

Only the mattress was narrow, not enough for two adults, and the pillows were uncomfortable. As for the rest of the furnishing, it was wonderful.
The breakfast is good, the location is very excellent, close to the center and everything, and the staff are very nice.
