Great location for hiking in Harz, nice sauna and with a good breakfast too.

Last time I had a room which I find was designed better. Both had a bath tub inside the room, but the one I had the first time – by dividing the room into two smaller areas – just worked better for me. But it was a nice room nevertheless.

The restaurant is very good. The staff is very accomodating.

The double bed could have been slightly bigger

Everything, the rooms were comfortable, the mattresses were great, bathrooms modern. Breakfast was exceptional with a wide variety of food and drinks. The bar at reception had a nice variety of drinks. The whole atmosphere was very welcoming and modern with a vintage touch!

Spa could be bigger and more conveniently located, as you need to go outside to get to it.

Love this place. We come back here almost twice a year. Great food, amazing rooms and we love the area.

on booking.com it said that the hotel had a spa, which it didn't have - but this was one of the reasons we chose the hotel. one of the staff members was really unbehaved. there wasn't tea and coffee in the room, which we found really cheap. the facilities were in the room with cups and water, so we went to the city and bought tea and instant-coffee. i asked, and we were told we should pay extra (even though it should be included regarding to the home page). even though we used the plates and cups, we didn't get clean ones the day after. we spend 3 nights on the hotel.

There were a few staff that were really good but unfortunately there was also one that were no good. we all loved the morning buffet - it was really good. we liked the outside sauna. But there were a few extras we needed and which we thought would be included in a hotel.

The restaurant wasn't open for lunch and doesn't open for dinner on Sunday. This would be a great improvement.

Would be nice to have fresh Orange Juice for breakfast. The bottle Orange Juice is not fresh and goes against the freshness of the hotel concept.

Private Sauna are great. The room was very nice and the bathtub 😊 is a very cozy hotel. We would recommend it.

stylish but homey Hotel in the middle of Harz with a lot of details that show how much love went into it. We had a room with bath tub, which I absolutely recommend. Breakfast was rich and we were greeted by one of the owners every morning.

Our stay was the final part of our family summer vacation, after some nice weeks in France. So the expectations were high for a good experience. I must say we were never disappointed - a very nice location within Harz, a superb and stylish suite and a fabulous breakfast. The decor of the whole hotel is absolutely great, and just walking around in the corridors revealed unique discoveries. We very much liked the "family-home" atmosphere and the friendly staff - sitting in the garden with a cold beer enjoying life. Definately a place to revisit!

The bathroom seemed to have a rather bad ventilation system. It didn't stink but there was a stuffy smell to it.

The Hotel has a nice and easy going vibe to it. It's relaxed, young and cozy. I guess it's more of a place for Couples but it's fine Solo as well. I did really enjoy the Sauna and liked the bar a lot.

Truly boutique hotel interior at a high level taste. fantastic atmosphere. Only sad that the Leo restaurant was closed for dinner during our stay.

Glad to know that a modern lifestyle hotel exist within the Harz region. Breakfast is pretty varied and superb! IT’S A MUST to try the plated dinner in Leo’s Restaurant! We already tried, twice! Very delicious and worth every penny. I like the hotel’s concept and design. Our room was clean, modern and cozy. Hiking trails are just nearby. Staff were friendly and accommodating, Aldin was the best!

Braunlage is a little old fashioned but the hotel itself was amazing. I would have liked to have a kettle in the room or be told earlier I can rent one. I would have liked the room to be more cozy. A bit too much grey and concrete.

Loved the food, the sauna, the design, the nature around, the staff were super friendly. The light going on automatically under the bed at night.

Location in Braunlage not attractive - neither the city it self (compared to say Goslar or Quedlinburg) nor the specific location in a residential area (though close to the National Park). The room had a "hi-tech" light system. At one time we couldn't turn off the "love light" no matter what we did. Just before going to the reception one of us went to the bath room and when turning on the light there, the "love light" turned of!(?) It would be nice if the hotel had a restaurant especially since the assortment in Braunlage is poor. Details: There was a bottle of water at arrival but no glasses. The hand cream container contained shampoo. All in all the room was a bit too expensive considering all of the above.

Very nice decoration and interior design. Nice bar with good sandwiches, snacks, coffee and drinks. No problems with refunding when we had to leave a day earlier.
